Data East made a few pinball machines, or should I say didn't make, cause ya know they're a little lost. Where did they go? I hope they find their way home :( Anyway, We're taking a look at these long gone pinball machines. They're pretty cool. lot's of fun, lot's of laughs, maybe even some tears. (spoilers). 00:00 - Intro Stuff 00:54 - Total Recall 03:37 - King Kong 07:04 - Baby in the Hole 09...
Kingpin: Capcom's Other Lost Pinball Machine
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
Big Bang Bar had a brother? Who woulda guessed. Let's take a look Capcom's other lost pinball machine, Kingpin. We'll go over the history behind the table and maybe even the table itself. Who knows. Kingpin's pretty cool, or at least I think it's pretty cool. Either way I'm happy to share everything I could dig up around this would be Capcom classic. If you like pinball and also maybe want to s...
The Most Obscure Pinball Machine: Panic Shot! Rockman
มุมมอง 2.9Kปีที่แล้ว
Did you know there was a Mega Man pinball machine? I sure didn't. Well, I guess it's actually Rockman. Either way, this is one rare table. As far as I can tell, nobody's got their hands on one. What little info we do have on it is so strange it kinda makes me wanna see the table in action more. Hopefully someone will find one, one day Here's the link I mentioned if you wanna get some more from ...

In my eyes the game that brought me fun that’s closest to real pinballs was the pro pinball series. The first part was called „the web“ the second and best „timeshock“ and I think there are one or two more. Ty for putting so much effort into to this dope documentary.
Taito made some awesome video games. bubble bobble! They‘re the same right? / ps: hey cmon… xenon had not just a women’s voice. It’s Suzanne Chiani. The pinball timeline is intersecting with the ones of synthesizers right there ( Buchla / moog)
Clarification (30:05): INDustria Electromecánica de Recreativos Sociedad Anónima
About time for part 5?
You are changing the screens too fast.
Awesome knowledge and presentation on pinball history!
Attack from mars is the best
Florello probably was unable to hit Rudy in funhouse.
I absolutely despise the floaty ball physics on Farsight's games. Feels like you're playing with a ping pong ball. BUT, I can't deny that it's still a ton of fun playing them.
"i want to make more videos": haven't posted any video for a year
I’ve watched through this series a stupid number of times. It was especially entertaining when I was first getting into the hobby. I now have 4 EM’s, 3 of which I restored and the 4th is in progress. I’d love to see a video from this channel talking about your favorite EM machines or additional noteworthy EM’s. Great work.
why not do pinball history of each individual company? 10 minute video for capcom, 25 minute video for zaccaria, two part, 1 hour for gottlieb, etc etc you could even cover how something like chicago coin became stern became data east became sega became stern
You seem relatively young, which makes this exhaustive history lesson on pinball the more impressive.
Part 5 when?
Great video series bud. Fantastic layout / editing and information. Thanks for putting in the work. Much appreciated
This would be a good video series if it wasn't edited like it was targeting millennials.
8:50 did I just witness a war crime?
The local retro arcade in downtown Macon, GA has a Striker Xtreme, and for being someone not into soccer at all, it's actually pretty fun
the black knight saying gimmie your money was so funny
friendship 7 😊
I love watching the slo-motion slo mo guys did for jersy jacks wonka table but cool to see they did many others
26:05 33:38 (not medieval madness) I actually played these ones in leicester in the UK earlier this year!, I never really got to play pinball machines being such a rarity here but I can assure you i poured my coins into it as well as a unrelated space one
4:00 "pinball became legal in NY and soon the rest of the country" Nope pinball was legal in most of the country NY was one of the few places where it was illegal so they joined the rest of the country.
Thank you very much for this entire series
Another thing Stern began doing was producing cheaper tables (around the $4,000 to $5,000 range), with cheaper licenses, simpler gameplay, and a few cut corners. They've been calling it the Home Pin tier, and everything in that tier wasn't too interesting, though Jurassic Park Home Edition looks pretty interesting...
MORE PINBALL VIDEOS PLEAASSEEE 😭😭😭
This was an amazing series, fun and informative. Thanks! I'll rewatch it for sure after some time.
For my quarter, I would rank Eight Ball Deluxe as the most prolific, enduring, and important machines ever created. This game was in most every arcade, but also found home in many bars, and it tended to stick around while other machines were cycled out for newer models. Iconic sound, and relatable gameplay, one of the best designs ever made.
i really didnt know pinball was in a decent position nowadays surely its not in Germany as far as I can tell there are no new machines around to play. The only thing available are old machines in a private museum in my town. But i really look forward to play them :D. meanwhile pinaball arcade will do fine i hope :) ty for your series I binged the 2 hours down straight
thank you for telling me about pinball arcade I just started my steam download to see if i can try some of the iconics you mentioned in your series :D
i love your documentary :)
The golden age of pinball is coming back folks. You can smell it.
“It’s that smelly kind of smell”
companyman is that you?
The only physical pinball machine I've ever played was the Simpsons' Pinball Party, back when I was a kid over ten years ago at Chuckies. Even so, I've always loved pinball and I long to build my own machine.
Dude Pinbot and Time Machine are currently my two favorite tables!! Hell yeah!
Need to make a video about the weird occult symbolism spread over Mad Dog’s art and especially what in the Illuminati is going on with Pat Lawler and that red button?
Python Angelo never made a really good playing pinball, all his pinballs were weak to mediocre at best, I wonder how he ever got a job designing pinballs!
Didn't Data East get its start making pinball machines in this era? For being such a comprehensive documentary, There is no mention of them.
i didn't know medieval madness and attack from mars were so highly revered. i mean...they're GOOD. but i always liked other williams machines from that era way more. Champion's pub, Fish tales, JUNKYARD. how can you hate junkyard? it's got the friggin' sloppy jalopy race
I played Joist at the Lyons Classic Pinball in Colorado years ago, not sure if they still have it, great arcade to visit on your way to Rocky Mountain National Park or anytime you’re near Boulder
“Joust” 😂 Love your videos, keep them coming, other topics: -Most Beloved Mechs -Recent Pinball Companies like Haggis (too soon?), American, Multimorphic -Pinball museums/locations with the most/best collection
I'm glad that you mentioned RUSH pinball. You said that one company moved to Taiwan and I never see pinball here. 😢
Pinball > Video Games
They had to change the KISS logo to sell it in Germany.
The owner of home pin is an Aussie from Australia.
Jersey Jack owner pronounced incorrectly.
Who cares about video games in pinballs.
Stern actually can trace it's roots to Chicago coin and then stern electronics and then data east and then Sega which became stern pinball.
Your inage for fireball was actally a home unit called fire ball it was possibly made by bally or licensed
34:58 in fact, cactus Kenya was so loved that they made two remakes when it comes to the game code one of them is altered by Chicago Company, and those two remakes are cactus Canyon continued and cactus Canyon remake
Now I don’t know what company that made the continued version of the code, but I do know that Chicago Kings Company created the remake version
34:58 and I’ll tell you why Chicago gains company really did a really good number on remastering cactus Canyon. Chicago Company saw that cactus Canyon was made by Williams, but it was pretty rushed and the code did not get finished properly so Chicago games decided to update the code still remain its core elements and update it they did
