Crazy pump with 21s but not crazy gains sadly
@@letsgofishing5238 Keep going my man, the filthy pump is pushing nutrients into the muscle to stimulate growth. I like to use it as a finisher since you can't go really heavy. 💪
Does this work on your shoulders well?
@@johnnybo1559 It does a little bit. There are airbags at shoulder height that will squeeze them. No roller massage on them but it's not bad. Feels like you're getting a big hug haha.

@@RogerStaysCreative Hey! It comes with some citrus cleaning packets for descaling but I haven't had to use it yet. I leave the door and window open once I'm done and it seems to dry out pretty fast without smells. I'll keep you posted if it starts smelling though haha.
I bought my powerblocks back in 2015. Still going strong. Still reliable. Moved to many different places with them.
@@Noobiie23 That's great to know! They seem to be built to last forever! Thank you for sharing your experience, what model do you have?

@Noobiie23 it's wild there are so many models now. I'm glad your powerblocks are rock solid though! 💪 Do they go up to 90lbs also?

Imo, it's not even a contest. Powerblocks are the best adjustable dumbbells out there.
Literally just watched your year 2 review and said “oh shit, year 3?!, 1 day ago??” Haha good stuff man. My old bow flex 1090 from 2009 have finally become unusable above 35 lbs lol I’ve been looking at these recently

I just got these, like the idea and size but... to get 5lb increment you need to pull/put metal cylinders every time, very annoying
@@GeorgyGobozov Yeah I totally understand. I usually leave the incremental weights in or out so it doesn't slow my workout. I'll just do more reps if the weight is a little lighter.

This is great. I may just build my own Smith.
@@seanyounk1 That sounds like such a fun project! Thank you for watching, I'd love to hear how it turns out!
I want your opinion. I watched your video and I agree with you. The Bowflex 1090 (the ones I wanted) are made of hard plastic and they do break if dropped. So I am in the midst of purchasing Power block USA 90 lbs. for $375. Is that a good price? It does come with a stand, but the stand looks like it is for a band saw.
@@KillRbee0218 Do the USA powerblocks come with all 90lbs? Or is it 50lbs? If it's 90lbs that's a smoking deal! Either way with it coming with a stand that's a great bonus! Normally the EXP powerblocks are $360ish for just 50lbs.
Well done
@@guyesmith Thank you so much! I hope it helped and you have a great day!
I'm using the Quick Jacks for the first time. The original line connectors were very hard to connect. I use gun oil to lube the connectors which helped. I switched to the connectors you used. 4 = $98 on Amazon. My lines have male fittings at both ends. To use the new connectors I install 1/4" tapered pipe connects to the lines.
@@bux49 Great job using the QuickJacks! I agree it's a lot of effort to connect those together. I hope you liked using them. You are welcome I hope it helped!
Another TH-camr says the pump side threads are 9/16-18 UNF not 1/4 NPT... Your links for the pump side fittings (both black and red versions) show as 1/4" NPT... Can you confirm?
@@chamberlin1 I'm not sure where 9/16 is coming from but the two I linked are 1/4 NPT and connected no problem. I hope that helps!
@@SelfBuilt yea the other guy was confident on the 9/16-18 thread on his pump... I just checked my pump (which is 2017 build BTW) and it has 1/4" NPT *male* threads through the use of a factory installed adapter... Maybe the other end of the adapter going into the pressure block is 9/16-18 female? 🤷♂️ So seems QuickJack changed things up over the years. Regardless, thanks for making the video and calling them out on crap fittings! My white o-rings look okay on the original ones, but one is leaking like a sieve. I'm just going to go ahead and get two pairs of female 1/4" NPT fittings based on your links. Thanks again!
@@chamberlin1 You could be right, they might have changed things with different models. I got mine in 2024. I could see the other end being closer to 9/16. Yeah those dang seals not only leaked but made it super hard to connect or disconnect while tearing the o rings. I hope you like the alternative! Thank you for watching I really appreciate it and hope it helps!

Thanks for the tips ! I want to put strap on these mais I never found how.. Maybe you have a solution ?
@@ThibaultPlm Your are welcome! What do you mean? I don't know what mais is.
@SelfBuilt sorry it's my French spell checker that changed it. I want to use straps during my pull session but I can't pass them through the Powerblock. Do you have a tip?
@Bicycletophilm Oh I gotcha haha. I noticed it's a bit tight in there too, but once I changed handles it's opened things up and I don't feel the need for straps since they seem to hold onto me now. But I agree it's a bit tight and other than changing the handle diameter I haven't come up with an alternate.
I got a old used set of powerblocks they are 15-20 years old iv been using them for 1 year and I can not say one bad thing about them. I did just order the new repins 125lb dumbells but I did not order them to replace my powerblocks I want to move one powerblock to my living room and the other to my computor room I love the fact you don't need a cradle with them so they're going to be perfect for doing little micro workouts when I'm watching TH-cam the new weapons will be my new go to in my home gym dumbbell set and they just look smoking good
@@mdk42o74 That's awesome you've been using such old powerblocks! They are built to last and I like the idea of having them spread around your house so you can always get a workout in 💪 congrats on getting those repins! Those look pretty dang sweet! I've seen some videos on them and they look pretty indestructible too. You'll have to share your experience with them! I hope you really enjoy them! 💪
Can you use this in the bedroom on carpeting?
@@Gr33nie9 Yeah you can. You just need to be mindful to check the little steamer box every little bit so it doesn't overflow and get on the floor. It does have what seems to be water resistant flooring but just to be safe.
