Thanks for stopping by!
I'm a designer and freelance writer based in Northern Europe. I'm passionate about efficiency, materialism, industrial design, user experience and mindful consumption. I love learning about how things are made and raising awareness about craftsmanship and engineering.
Naturally, I'm quite fond of beautiful things, but I do extensive research before either purchasing or recommending a product, to make sure its aesthetics, function and value are balanced. This is just a creative outlet, so the video subjects might not make sense... It's whatever I feel like doing and have something to say about.

I'd be ashamed of it. I certainly wouldn't post it.
Happy holidays
Good job for making an effort at least you know what went in them rather then buying from the market but you could definitely do with few master chef videos ☺️
@@AdventureAsh1 I did watch a lot of videos, but I think this is one of those things I’d like to learn in person, with someone showing how and me following 🙃… My mom consoled me and said the first time she tried roasting a chicken, it ended up on the floor at one point 🫢
@ the more you do it better you will become, next time , chop the veg and onions but in the half deep tray and place chicken on the top maybe run the inside with chicken stock and skin with bit of oil 1 hr 30 min 220c perfect 👌 enjoy
I mean, it looks alright and definitely tasted better, but I have 2 suggestions to make it puurrrfect: 1. Ditch the paper and just butter the inside of your tray. That way it won’t look all mangled up like that. 2. Lower your cake in the oven and also your temp. 10-20 degrees C. and add 10min to the baking time and it will come out golden on top instead of dark-burned. 😊 I do a normal round tray 60 min at 150 degrees.
@@irinafersch4575 the paper was definitely more aesthetically pleasing than useful 🫣. Thanks for the advice!
that turned out really well
@@rando_guy it did 😋
According to imusa take the moka pot off at3/4 full. As far as bialetti goes im not sure.
I have just recently bougjt an imusa 6 cup stove top moca pot. My first use yielded the most buttery smooth ferench roast coffee i have ever tasted. Subsuquently i made it too strong and should have used milk. Your method looks very easy and i like the idea of sdding coffee to milk. Try a slab of unsalted butter with or without the milk. P.s. if you want crema use sparkling water in the moka pot.reprtedly this increases crema. I have not done this yet so be careful it may not work. I am using starbucks 6 month old coffee and it seems to yield decent results if abit too strong. I may cut down on amount of coffee. I grind my beans in a turkish pepper mill. Back off on the burrr and it seems to work as a coffee grinder. Thank you for the milk idea! I think cappuchino easier on my stomach. Cheers!
The heck is this!? DROWN THOSE SUCKERS IN COFFEE!
This look very nice! I think I'll try to make this tomorrow
Hope it turned out delicious 🥰
Thanks. I bought a bunch of their knives and cookware, usually at supermarket or department-store promos that involve stickers. Quality is decent but seems they just put their labeling on generic goods. Not a bad deal for the sale price they are often sold at but not premium at all.
i use 120g of ROOM TEMP water it removed a lot off bitterness
Head isu!

I sub'd. Love the channel ❤
@@crazywisdom2 thank you 🥰
Hey, I am thinking to buy one. What do you use it for? Are you satisfied?
So far so good, haven't had any issues. I only use it occasionally though. I think it's good value and a good way to test if this type of cookware works for you!
What’s a milk froffer?
I was looking for water/moka-yield to milk ratio and came across your video. I noticed you used a roughly 1:1 ratio of water (in the moka): milk. I tried the same and it turned out delicious. 20g ground coffee 150ml hot water in my 3 cup moka pot 150ml hot milk 0/5/10g jaggery powder 90-100ml brewed coffee (yield) poured over 150ml hot milk mixed with 0/5/10g jaggery powder = a delicious cuppa :)
When do I remove my pot from stove??
😋
Veg releases a lot of moisture which you want to leave the pan, not trap inside of the pan. You get more flavour if you take the lid off 😅
@@VividBullox it’s a matter of preference. For this dish, I prefer the filling to be soft and tender- cooking under the lid gets me that texture. It also speeds up the cooking process. It’s only for a few minutes while I prepare the eggs/tidy the counter. If I felt like there was some excess moisture, I’d simply let it evaporate for a little while after removing the lid, before adding the eggs.
Yeah fair enough do it your way. When you reduce moisture the flavour will intensify. 😃
Where are you from?

hi! i got this too, but i’m a bit concerned because it’s nowhere to be found online. i’m wondering if it’s original… i also got the knife block!
@@WelcometoAngiesKitchen I thought it was suspicious too… I do think it’s an original product, just that maybe Smeg’s strategy is to grow their brand, fast, and not all product categories are created equal. Plus, maybe they’re aiming these more affordable items at markets where there’s fewer people who can afford a Smeg fridge, and don’t see the need to have them in those markets who do mostly want their appliances, hence the lack of an online presence. Honestly just speculating, don’t know 🤷♀️. But I’ve had my braiser for over a year and so far no issues 😊
@@orattik thank you for the response! i still love them as well, they look really good in my kitchen 😊🩷
But u did an amazing job

Just a tip but people sometimes use korean pears / apples
She did use apples check again
Yeah, wish I had access to Korean fruit - would love to see how it's different, but alas... I do want to try and use a (regular) pear next time though! Should add a little sweetness...
Underrated video! the video quality is good!

Never had Kimchi, how's it taste?
Kimchi is a mainstay in Korean culture for a reason! It's absolutely delicious, and great for your gut health. This recipe isn't how I make it, but it's definitely close! I add more salt for the brine, add in brine shrimp and anchovies, and then some plum syrup (or agave nectar if I'm out of syrup). Also I add much more gochugaru. I also add in daikon radish for extra crunch. The best part is when it really ferments for a while and it gets nice and sour. That's the best time to make it into soup! It's called kimchi jigae. You can definitely eat it right after making it though, it still tastes good, just not as good as fermented. I make a big batch every few months. My Halmoni has a very specific way of making it, and I've never had a better recipe!
@@nixxxxxxie Thank you so much! Definitely trying it.
I'd say the first "flavour" is spice/heat - followed by a mild sourness. Also, depending on what you use to make it and how long you let it ferment, you can taste the actual vegetable too. Definitely try some!
I have been using the same method for several years, so for me, this beats a pod machine hands down. Yes, it takes a little longer than a pod machine, but I love moka coffee, it is way cheaper than using a pod machine, you can make your drink from any of dozens of available beans or pre-ground coffee and you can make just about any of the best coffee recipes from a Moka pot as it is similar, but not the same as expresso.
Expresso?

add starch to fries. hmmmm. whole idea is to get rid of it.
I know! I saw this recommendation on several videos and had the exact same reaction! Why add it if I just spent all this time removing it 🧐?? But they turned out good! Not “fried” but baked of course 🙂

looks more like korean curry to me lmao
Really?? The recipe is based on what I tried during my travels in Japan and how locals said they cooked it at home. I'll have to try Korean curry and see how it compares, I've never had it.
@@orattik korean curry has more carrots and potatoes just like in this clip, whereas japanese curry looks more like indian-type (cream-based, glossy appearance) hope that helps

It looks like it's only available in some physical store is certain European regions, but I'm not sure. I've not seen it online at all, but I've linked to some similar casseroles in the description!
