As an herbalist, I take pride in handcrafting vegan herbal products such as capsules, tinctures, and balms. Running this business requires a significant investment of time, energy, and effort. Sometimes customers may not fully appreciate the work involved and the costs incurred. For instance, I had a customer who wanted a herbal blend of loose-leaf tea for hair growth. Although the original price was $25 for a 4 oz bag, I offered it to them for $15. Unfortunately, they didn't pay the invoice, so I had to send them a second invoice. Thankfully, they eventually paid. It's important for me to communicate the value of my products and the effort that goes into creating them. don't understand why people don't respect small businesses but will spend all of their money on these big corporations. I said that to say this, I am moved by your message, and as small business owners, we have to stand firm on our pricing, regardless of whether anyone makes us feel differently. I will take heed to your shipping advice, I wish you all the best in your business endeavors

I’ve been with Shopify since 2009 let me tell you a little bit about Shopify that you gotta be very careful on my experience was Customer😂 buy Products to me for over $500 product was shipped to the customer. Customer receive product and delivery confirmation was sent to me. Product was identified that it was the correct product. It was nothing wrong with it. Customer fill out a report with her bank stating that she never receive her products, and at the same time stated that product was not as described. We sent pictures of the package pictures of what the product was for the fact that she stated never receive a product and product was never not as described is a red flag. You can’t say you never receive your product and product is not as described, she fill out a affidavit on us. We send the report to Shopify This happened to me twice when I decide to pick Shopify as a company for my e-commerce I was charged the chargeback fee of $500 even though the legality was correct on my side Shopify do not protect their consumer e-commerce when they do the right thing, so no I will not trust Shopify because I got burnt twice. However, I have been using Squarespace and that works.

Thank you for posting this and clarifying PopUps vs Markets. I did my first-ever market on New Year's Eve 2023 and it's something I want to continue for all the reasons you mentioned. Because of limited resources: time, human capital, and marketing $, Markets would probably be a better fit for me for now. Thank you.

Definitely a Spiritual journey and we have to work through our mental limitations and mindset. Whew! It's deep. I craft artisanal cheesecakes (perishable!!!!) and I do charge for shipping, but I've raised the $ on the product some and charge flat rate shipping, nationwide. My shipments to closer areas offset those shipments farther away. It's been going well so far. Continued blessings!
