80% of Linebackers do this wrong
Understanding reads are probably the single most important thing that builds confidence on the field. When you know what to look at, you know where to be, and you're 100% more likely to make plays. We like to teach these as "triangle" reads.

The Snode AD80 goes from 10-80lbs by turning the adjustment ring on the end of the handle. The 10lb increments feel solid and don't rattle. The internals are also metal, which makes sure they won't stop working if you drop them. Quick adjustments are great for supersets and 80lbs are heavy enough to cover the majority of athletic movements. CHAPTERS 00:00 - Unboxing 00:57 - Setup & Features 03:...

    Nice drills! I do similar drills with my QBs. These will help any QB develope 2nd nature skills! Movement is key! Mechanics is foundation... but, fall apart quickly if movement (best when random) isn't practiced. Good stuff!

      I'm way more careful with the nuobells than I am with the snodes, but they "sound" similar. If you lift heavier (50lbs+) go with the snodes. If you're looking to replace a bunch of smaller weights, go with the nuobells.

    A 1 technique is any shoulder shade of the "center" not the guard. What you were describing is a "2i" or G technique. Those techniques are when you are aligned on the inside shoulder of the guard.

    • @ALLDAYAthletics
      @ALLDAYAthletics ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice job noticing that detail! Every coach has their own wrinkle to suit the scheme they’re using. Some use a 2i and others don’t. We teach the center as a 0 to build the fundamental understanding of the alignments. Once they’re in camp, they’ll easily be able to adjust to whichever technique their coaches use.
