I didn't get very far but it was still kinda fun! There's probably all sorts of synergies and tactics I don't know about that would've gotten me further.

Plenty of games deserved mentioning beyond these, but I had to draw a line somewhere. Here's to more in the coming year! I've got quite a few I haven't played yet.

Very holy, very fight. I think I got in more scraps in this part than in any other so far, though I don't exactly have data compiled to back this feeling up. Also, you may notice that I'm experimenting somewhat with ways to make the fights go by faster in the video. So far I've tried cutting just to impacts, cutting just to the "play" sequences, cutting a fight out almost entirely (i.e. frogs),...

I couldn't articulate it on the spot, but after sitting on it a bit I think I know at least partly why the framing of the fantasy story within this fantasy doesn't sit well with me: it's disingenuous at the very least, even if you take it as a fantastical utopia that people in this world might dream of, to present even a faint reflection of our world as a story in which racism does not and inde...

And that's the end of Chapter 2: Old Bones! I'm guessing Chapter 3 will start us out with a new character, perhaps.
