sir i have a hes clock but not working condition. u can reoair my alarm clock

Got a Pilot HMT 'fully serviced'. It ran fine for the first two days - about 35 hours reserve. Then on Day 3 it stopped after about 10 hours. From there it went downhill. Day 7, fully wound up, watch will regularly stop after only 2 hours - i would wind-up one turn to full, it restarts then stops again after 2 hours. Always test for several days. I asked for refund on Ebay but how do I prove the watch stops intermittently? Even linking a TH-cam video in the refund email, I cannot show the watch just stops at some point.

Following your excellent video disassembly on a Bifora watch made it so easy working on my Bifora watch - many thanks. I have some information for you which I discovered during disassembly - the crown wheel screw you found difficult to unscrew actually turns clockwise to undo. It is not a conventional anticlockwise turn to undo.

Very good demonstration - I am going to attemp to dismantle an old Bifora watch. Just one point, you did ask for comments, I think clocks have ‘hands’ but watches have ‘fingers’.

Hello.. What is meaning of hmt back case number

I have a similar clock, I think its the same with just a different face design, my grandmother gave it to my sister few years ago but idk what my sister did but it just stopped working, I kept it with myself for a few years now as I couldnt trust my sister with it, I have opened it up but dont see any damage. When shaken the clock will work for a few seconds and sometimes for a few minutes, so I think cleaning should work as there is a little dust in there, when I kept it stored away it was fully winded and still seems to be the same, do you think that could affect the winding coil? also any suggestions on how to clean the gears and which oil to use, I'll just keep it disassembled till then. Update: The disassembly didnt go well, I couldnt remove the minute hand so I continued removing gears from the back without removing it, turned out to be a bad idea as it made the seconds hand deformed and bringing it back to shape made some of the paint coating fall off, i was able to put everything bad together, so all I did was just ruin the face of the watch and cut my hand for no reason, anyone else thinking of this please don't, just take it to a professional rather than risk damage to an important item.
