Shonda rhimes also writes for white audience. You didn't bring her up
I disagree with this statement. She writes for a black and multicultural audience and places black characters in white spaces, which is not the same thing
I even forgot she had a brother 😂 😂😂
Right! 😂
You are absolutely gorgeous and that food looks AMAZING! If I ever go vegan this is how I want it to look! Exciting 😂💖
Thank you so much 🥺❤️ It’s been an amazing journey!
Vegan but still got a big back. That’s crazyyyyy

Trolls with no life. Ignore them..
The ashy color palette! 😂 Thank you! The best remake was Cinderella, because (among lots of things) of the vibrancy and saturated colors. And Sebastian reminds me of that fiasco with Sonic the Hedgehog.
I’ll have to go back and try Cinderella!
seeing a mother smiling and saying she was wrong from a lesson she learned healed me in wysi didnt know i needed
I love this! This is why I made this series! Beautiful ❤️
❤ lesson learn gladly imagine bringing up to pull baby stroller and the groceries up 2nd floor.
❤️
Unfortunately this happens still and kids get left in hot cars to. Then when you say anything to the person that left the child....she gets an attitude and nasty.
Luckily my Aunt was able to learn the lesson with grace
There's no manual for parenting, you can only do the best that you can. I'm thankful that the lesson you had to learn didn't come at a high price and I hope that others may learn from your experience. I learned to not have tall dressers in a toddler's room because they will climb--sounds like something you should already know, but I didn't. I've never been so thankful for NOT cleaning their room before bed bc a basketball in the middle of the floor saved my baby from being crushed. Now it's low furniture and/or anchored to the wall if there will be little ones.
Beautiful response! I’m not a parent yet but I want to be. It seems like the most scary but most rewarding job in the world. I wish others in the comments had more grace for my Aunt
The comments are annoying. New parents, especially alone, you don’t think sometimes when you’re overwhelmed, tired, trying to get things done etc. Every parent makes mistakes, half of y’all aren’t being honest or don’t even know what your moms have done to you lol, I admire her honesty and it’s refreshing to know that someone was watching so she could be prepared next time she just wanted to run in really quick ❤❤ it’s crossed my mind plenty of times!!!!
Thank you for your grace❤️❤️ This is why I created this series!
This comment is it. There is not a single parent out there that never made a mistake in parenting. I’m sick of other parents acting like they’re perfect parents who never did/do anything wrong when statistically that’s impossible!!! This mom made a mistake. Luckily she had someone looking out for her and her baby. She learned from this experience. And now she’s out here sharing her story so other moms don’t make the same mistake!!! We need to learn to LISTEN to people without JUDGING AND COMPARING how much “better” we think we are.
@@Auziahtv I love this and I’m glad you did. We need more REALNESS especially as parents. Parent guilt is hard ENOUGH constantly feeling like you’re not good enough or can’t make a mistake. On top of that everyone’s an expert. And of course, the added parent competition with your kids takes the cake!
@@neverknowsjess THANK YOU !!!!!!!! It would do a service to this earth if more people felt and spoke the way you do Jess!!
Nah baby, the groceries can wait. Baby, first ALWAYS was my motto. Hence, Ive acquired shopping while my kids are in school for what I went through with my first. It was alot.
It was the late 80s early 90s and my Aunt was a young mom at the time. The world was so different then and I think context is everything. I created this series to explore the depths of humanity. She was open enough to share her story and how she learned from it. I encourage you to watch the full episode. Hearing her whole story may help you have more grace for her.
I would never leave my child in the car especially when it's hot outside in her seat. I would take her out first and take her in the apartment first and put her in the play pin because she is asleep, and then go back to get my groceries.

I’m glad she learned her lesson but, I would’ve went off on the Godmother. She could’ve addressed it differently.
If you get a chance to watch the full interview she says more about their relationship now
I need this woman’s skincare routine… what a natural beauty
I agree! She is a very beautiful woman inside and out ❤️
Did you know apparently the kiss at the end was CGI? That's how much chemistry Jonah and Lauren DIDN'T have.
I learned after doing this video lol so crazy when they could have just found actors with chemistry 😂😅
So many times throughout this video, I heard my own mother in the testimonies. Having a front row seat to divorce. I went long periods of time without seeing my father and it eventually lead to misplaced resentment for my mother. Only as an adult did begin to realise and respect the sacrifices she made. The patience and compassion she had for me while I had my issues with her. I got very emotional watching this. It is a true show of strength to take on all of the bad in the world and remove it from your child's path. Great video!
Bro thank you for this thoughtful comment ❤️ This is why I created this series

Thanking these wonderful moms for their transparency & candid conversation, wishing all moms a Happy Blessed Mothers Day🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️
❤️❤️
such a good review !!! Ugh I was WAITING for the outfits !!! We never got !!! And 💯 agree that fact Halle looked more like a Disney princess at the premiere than the movie
The outfits had me UPSET 😂 Thank you so much for watching!
People would be just as upset if Tiana was Race Swapped. Black White Latino Asian fans of princess and the frog would be equally not into it.
Not a fair comparison. A huge part of Tiana’s story relies on her being black. NONE of Ariel’s story has anything to do with her being white.
@@Auziahtv true ❤
Congratulations ❤
Thank you!
It’s not a country album it’s a BEYONCÉ album! They not hearing her but they will when she’s on stage at the CMAs and it comes full circle 👀 I love that people are getting into Tanner Adell I love her. And I remember Willie Jones who is featured on Just for Fun from X Factor years ago! This album has me in a chokehold. Catch me in my cowboy boots and hat at the next rodeo.
Did you know Tanner before the album? If so girl why you didn’t tell me 😅
@@AuziahtvI did! I was introduced to her last year on TikTok. Now how is it my fault you know you always say you don’t like country 😂
🎤 We are the prototype
And that’s on Mary had a little lamb!!!!
Very well said and a superb analysis. Had no intention of listening to it strictly due to it not really being my preferred "genre", but you kinda put me in my place with that. 😅 I'm also a sucker for political movements. Thank you for your time and effort on this. #queenyonce
Thank you for the support big bro!
OMG, this has been the most in-depth & eye opening review I have seen/heard since this album dropped, phenomenal👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you for the support ☺️❤️
you people is exceptionally unfunny for a comedy, most jokes just felt uncomfortable
Couldn’t agree more!
Strays is nothing like “US” or “Get Out”, certain similarities just like any other movie of the same genre and the actors being black. Is a good movie, fast paced and entertaining. I didn’t like that they just went after the mother, what about the father? He also abandoned them.
I think I addressed some pretty fair similarities 🤷🏾♀️ Just my opinion tho! I don’t think the movie necessarily excluded the father. Tbh we don’t know if he remained active or not. This wasn’t his story so I think that’s why we didn’t see him.
It definitely was about race...."wonderful morning," she practices an accent. The daughter has baby hairs. She has a persistence itch on her hair which she hides. The idea of black people in her life, makes her recoil. There are two black drawing on her side mirror...she tries to have the boy fired but the principal speaks about how they don't want to seem prejudiced...you focused mainly on the elements of the film which was insightful but I disagree that it wasn't about race...The boy does even tell his big brother that the mother wants to be white...she even mentions to the husband that he wouldn't have been comfortable raising two black children...
We will have to agree to disagree, but thank you so much for checking out my video!
I laughed and was left agast when I saw a black woman NOT be the strong ride or die. She dipped so smooth I felt abandoned!
😂😂😂
I went to the movies with my mom and two daughters of mothers best friend who’s black they didn’t seem to enjoy any of it the film they just wanted to leave half way
0:19 Brief synopsis 0:57 Do we need remakes? 1:59 What they did wrong 3:04 Are Celie and Shug lesbians? 6:47 Positives 8:49 Taraji is broke 11:13 Why we shouldn’t forgive Mister
Thank you for being real and rational. I love hearing your takes!
Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️
What Taraji is speaking to is definitely a labor issue that affects all of us. The fact that someone unseasoned like a Jennifer Aniston can work less and be paid more (an instance pointed out in a Facebook post I saw one day) while Henson has to labor and labor and labor.... put this in the context of a 9-5 and a union would be on your boss' ass. I also agree with you about how abusers should be treated. Leave them out of family gatherings and in the cold where they belong.
Whew! Well said! Thank you for your input and for watching
@@Auziahtv Thank you! You make excellent content!
I totally disagree with you about David Allan Grier he’s played pastors in film and television before and he was pretty convincing to me. Also did Taraji sabotage her own career by waiting until working with Oprah to speak about her”pay”? And speaking of Oprah, why did she not speak on what Taraji was saying since she’s so about women empowerment???BS!
I’m glad you enjoyed him lol Also the point I was trying to make is that Taraji has been talking about this for years, even prior to working with Oprah. And I agree, there a lot more Oprah should do.
You are one of the most thoughtful reviewers of media I’ve seen on this platform. The passion and care you be giving to these reviews is something to behold. Your inclusion of contextual cultural analysis is something that could have been so poorly done by somebody even a little less talented but you did it with such skill. You should be proud of producing a quality piece of art. I’m not gonna lie I’m still morally conflicted about seeing this movie but after watching this I’m a little more defined on what I’m leaning towards. I’m subscribed, liking, and sharing this with friends. I can’t wait to see more of your stuff, thank you for sharing your art with the world.
Wow! Thank you so much this comment means the world to me. I’m always wondering if my work matters. Thank you so much ❤️
I love the review! You covered a lot in a short period of time. It definitely has me thinking further and wanting to read the Color Purple! I've seen the Broadway production, but I definitely want to rewatch the 80s film. Plus all of your reviews are so in depth and really challenge my thinking. Keep creating Auzi! You're a gift!
Love you Sheray ❤️
Excellent review, I believe the “Color Purple” is one of those classic that should be left alone, but you raised some interesting points, and I would love to see our ppl up for some awards!!!
This was a fantastic review! I haven’t seen the film so I can’t speak much on the content, but I loved how you compared critiqued the film not only with the original movie but also to the original book. It was very interesting hearing how differently certain characters and their plot lines were handled in each different iteration. I also very much agree with your thoughts on Teraji P. Henderson and her recent remarks on the disparity in pay for black women. It’s troubling that she’s gotten so much push back when she’s bringing to light a huge issue that our community still struggles against. The clip with Denzel was also wonderful and I love the distinction he made and agree as well. Again I really enjoyed your thoughts on the movie, thank you!
Thank you so much Lauren ❤️
