Ah, the good ol' Skyrim space program, courtesy of the giants. It's a random chance that ANY hit will send you space bound, which is an instant death and there goes all your armor leveling. I prefer to use the mammoths for this, as they are still unable to get through the gates, and don't have a random chance to send the Dragon Born into low Nirn orbit on any given hit.

Or, stay with me here, we could cheese it. Use the resto-loop potion method to make two potions of enchanting, one at say 500% and the other at 100,000%. Use the 500 on the smithing enchant and the other on a health enchant. Make a dummy thicc sword or whatever and give it to a follower then equip the extra health. Aggro the follower, and a couple of good smacks later, 100 to your armor. Then either disarm shout or surrender to the follower and take back your thicc steel. No space visit needed.

fastest way would actually be to just make use of all the useless gold you stockpile that you will never spend and go find the master trainer. you can be patient and visit them to train at the cap every level, or use a mod to raise the training cap limit per level.

bah duplicating doesn't count man. was hoping for a legit trick. easier less cheesy (but still cheesy) way is to just stockpile all the junk you gather, then dismantle it all, craft stuff, smelt/breakdown, rinse repeat till you use up all materials. mods that expand what you can breakdown make this even easier/cheesier

Abacean longfin and cyrodilic spadetail are easy if you save them and put them in the fishery at the one home from hearthfire

Do you have to keep drinking the potions every time?

Actually I believe there's a faster way, but it requires you get to 100 smithing, enchanting, and alchemy. It's also needlessly complicated and requires a lot of setup. And no, it doesn't involve the alchemy/enchanting loop since that is patched out anyway. Make some max level alchemy gear, max level enchanting potions, then more alchemy gear. You should be able to get to about 33% per piece of gear (with Seeker of Sorcery buff and Ahzidal's boots buff you can get to like 35% or something). Also make some smithing gear which will have roughly the same value, and a smithing potion to boost your improvement level. Go back to the black book and get Seekers of Might to improve smithing further. Next make two Dragonbone Daggers and some heavy/light armor. Improve all to max with the potions and smithing gear. Should be well over 100 damage per dagger. Final step, go hire a good melee follower. Give them the weapons, fire them, then attack them. They will equip the daggers and repeatedly attack you at lightning speed dealing a huge amount of DPS and very quickly leveling your armor skills. Technically they does less damage per hit than the giants (since the club power attack can do multiple hundreds of damage per hit depending on difficulty level) but since he's duel wielding daggers he will attack much more often leading to a much higher DPS overall. Only really practical in the late game. I did this to level my heavy and light armor skills to max and then legendary repeatedly until I had enough perk points to buy every perk in the tree.

I believe USKP (an unofficial patch) removes the restoration loop: for those with this patch, like myself, I find that once you get golden hills plantation (close to Rorikstead, unlocked by completing the "Unquiet Dead" quest), try the following: 1. Find Scaly Pholiota, Mora Tarpinella and Creep Cluster. Also, grab some Snowberries, Glowing Mushrooms and Blisterwort. 2. Full upgrade golden hills, all the trimmings (start by creating your forge as that'll allow you to more easily craft the items you need for the rest of the upgrades). 3. You'll have 3 areas for crops - The biggest crop field + the small flowerbeds should contain Scaly Pholiota, Creep Cluster and Mora Tarpinella. Put the Snowberries, Glowing Mushrooms and Blisterwort in the smaller crop field. 4. Ramble for a few in game days, hunt blue butterflies - you can knock them down using the first word (fus) of the unrelenting force shout. 5. Return to Golden Hills, harvest your crops, go inside, collect from the pantry. 6. Combine the following ingredients: Creep Cluster, Mora Tarpinella and Scaly Pholiota - an incredibly valuable fortify carry weight potion. 7. Repeat steps 4 to 6 as necessary, getting your alchemy up to 100. 8. Investing skill points into the alchemy tree (alchemist, physician, and benefactor) will acceletate the process, and should be done the first time round. 9. Once your alchemy is at 100 with the above perks, create fortify enchanting potions using Snowberries and Blue Buttetfly wings, and Fortify Smithing potions using Blisterwort + Glowing Mushrooms. Equip fortify alchemy gear to boost the strength of these potions, create them en masse. 10. Assuming you've already levelled enchanting and smithing, you'll have dual echantments on your crafting clothes (smithing + alchemy). 11. Using your crafting gear + fortify smithing potions, you can now improve weapons to inflict immense damage, and using fortify enchantment potions you can bind immensely strong enchantments to them. 12. Make alchemy legendary, returning the skill perks to you, investing said skill perks into other skills. 13. To grind for more perks, simply harvest ingredients and mix fortify carry weight potions (Creep Cluster + Mora Tarpinella + Scaly Pholiota) while wearing your crafting gear. Harvest, wear, craft - wash, rinse and repeat. Great at higher levels when perk points are hard to come by.

Used to do this in Morthal. I would lock pick after being jailed and get my stuff and sit in the corner while they beat the shit out of me to level light armor and shield 😂

why do you need to drink the potion? couldn't you just keep it in your inventory?

The restoration glitch got me my 100M+ damage "I am sick of fighting a dragon every other time I visit my farm to collect cash" dagger that I named FAFO and the accompanying 200M+ damage dragon bow.

I’m pretty sure you can get repel lesser undead at restoration lvl 50. It could go kinda slow but it’s way fast if you have a group of undead like the zombies south of Helgen or the skeletons in archwind point

gold is hell solo queue i had 50 thousand damage tanked with strange went 22 and 2 and they said i threw when it was 1 healer 4 dps.

Good way to level conjuration as well is to have giants fight companion, spam magic run away, wait 1hr, go back spam repeat.

You can use the potion to increase the bonus of smithing and use It to upgrade any weapon or armor in a grinding Stone/workbench to upgrade your smithing skill and sell the item that you upgrade to a Merchant, even If the Merchant don't have the Gold do pay Full price (none of tem will) this will make you UP speech as fast as Alchemy. Using this method you can upgrade 3 skills to 100 in a couple of minutes. And you can make them legendary to reset the skill to lvl 15 and keep using this to reach any lvl you want

False, this is NOT the fastest way, the fastest way is to use Equilibrium and Grand Healing. Equilibrium will drain your health to restore your magika, and Grand Healing will put you back at full health, it’s an infinite loop.

I love how you just described how lvling works instead of how to lvl up faster.

Is this some end-game cheese which I’m too noob to understand ? The highest armor for a chest piece I currently have is the wolf set with 34 armor.
