Yea the card is everywhere at the moment! Think most full control decks want it, but there are more tempo style decks like Murktide that don't.

Hey - I have played a bit of Jeskai control, but haven't actually tried Boros... Should probably give it a try, just to get a look from the other side. Lots of things to try in Modern at the moment, of the top decks though i'm quite liking Goryo's.

@@nickbmtg Sick. I'd recommend trying Boros, although it isn't your usual kind of combo deck, it is actually really fun and I think that contributes pretty significantly to its popularity and "staying power" in the metagame. Also, I've seen some weird Domain Zoo lists with Leyline+Scion, Bowmasters, Ajani and Frog. It's a weird list but it's basically just playing all the most busted creatures. Really interesting.

He’s not bad. It seems like he was trying the deck out and getting a feel for it. Nick is also always open to learning more optimally plays from people in the comments and seems to be humble. That is the perfect recipe for becoming better at this game.

Also you didn't need to pick up the 2nd copy of Goryos from the graveyard, just leave it and keep the Fallaji as a 1/4 to hold back Ocelot or force a double removal🤔

Yea i've been enjoying it! Tamiyo is interesting, let me know how it goes :) Yea i could see trimming tefs but I do like having the ability to bounce problematic permanents, or being able to re-set our ring. Also great if we expect a lot of murktide.

@@nickbmtg true, tef maybe good atm. tamiyo maybe prove harder to include than i first thought :(. Subtelties are good as we a re light on threats, so ur build may be the best one in the end hah hah
