Hi Nick I'm building this list in paper, but i have some question. Do u thinks it's necesary the 4th Tamiyo? Could we play some Murktide? U think we need more kozilek's return in the side? And in the moment wizards are more strong than ur murktide? Thanks a lot
Hi, I think it is possible to shave a tamiyo, but she is very good early and turns on flame well. I do want to try a couple murktide, just as a huge threat to end the game (probably not too many as fights with snappy a bit). I could see more k return in the side, it has been really useful. I'm really liking wizards at the moment, harbinger has been really good for me, and it turning on flame is a real bonus. Hope that helps! :)
I think 1 is ok, we often only need 1 red mana per turn. Like you say, a lot of our spells are double blue which can make them awkward. If the meta is heavy on land destruction (world breaker etc) I could see going up to 2
I'm currently building my izzet wizard deck. Just waiting for my set of foil Tune the Narrative and Galvanic Discharge to come in. I seen a list when 5-0 with Crackling Drake. Nick, what's your take on Crackling Drake?
@@rickygilbert7204 I do love crackling drake! I'm not sure if it's a bit slow for modern, but it can definitely take over the game. Think I'd want to play the red MH3 land to give it haste?

I noticed alot of izzet wizard decks run only 1 mountain. Wouldnt 2 be alright or it just need much islands as possible for counters?

Harbinger locks so many decks out. They don’t have enough white to play wrath. And turning off all there red gets rid of there removal.

@@nickbmtgfair enough. That 4 toughest isn't that impressive after all for Drake.
Glory something.. pay 2 red and give it haste. See some control and mardu energy decks run that land.
