Sentiers du Moulin - King Kong. Is this really a warm-up Trail?!?
Come along for the ride following Alistair on our first run of the day at SDM. He seemed to think this was a good warm-up trail before we headed off to ride Wolverine on the Maelstrom side. He might have been right!

Shredding the Don with Alistair in prime Fall conditions. We start off with a few highlights from Rollerflowster and Transhpanda, then head out to Catalyst to session some of the difficult features and new steep drop in. That’s a great trail, one of my faves in the don. Is that a Rocky Element you’re riding?
@@jeffsmithson4104 yeah an older one I think two models ago
When riding you can always tell that trail was built back in the narrow bar/26er era.
Man you guys are actually good, rode the same trails just not as skillful 😅, a lot of bleached sunspots though in the footage, reduce your EV comp
How tough is that race especially uphills?
The race is definitely something you want to put in serious training for. It will just make the whole experience that much better. The days are very long, and you are out there for 10 hours racing, transitioning, waiting around, having lunch etc. There is very little down time when you get back to camp and you basically fall asleep and repeat the whole day over. Back to back to back days really start to wear you out. The stages are long - 5-7min, but are all downhill with very minimal sustained uphill. The stages are very physical and rough which doesn't show well in the videos.
Proudly representing Toronto ON Canada 🇨🇦 👏👏👏
Don Valley, Toronto to be more exact!
This looks fun. Is the trail on Trailforks?
@@joseph-the-seventh I’m not sure. It’s more of a side feature off the main ridge trail. Right before you go under the millwood bridge heading North
@@AdventureTrailsTO Oh crazy. I have not been on the ridge for maybe a couple of years. I’ll have to check this out soon.
Turn down that fisheye.
You like GoPro max lens 2.0?
Day two was so rowdy!
@@juliomadriz it was wild!
Holly molly....you are crushing it....👏👏👏
Nice riding! What go pro setting do you have?
First day of a five day race, but f$£k the bottle, it'll take too much time to pick up! 😀Looking forward to Day 2.
That’s how we roll. No time to slow down
Letting the BROmad eat!!!
haha it was HUNGRY!
Entrance to the top location ?
Damn, I can’t even do a small jump…lol. Nice video!
Thanks dude! Just gotta build your way up
Wow guys! Damn you guys FLY! I hope to be able to get to half the speed you guys are carrying! Nice riding boys!
Wow! This is some amazing riding, but from the perspective of someone who's never been to a bike park before, it looks terrifying. 😆 What kind of speeds were you hitting?
New Adventure Trails video?! Let's goooo...quality as always man!
I don't even know how you follow that trail- it looks like you're randomly riding through woods; it's not very well-defined. Lots lots of technical challenge though, well done.
So smooth and fast 🫡🫡🫡
I don’t understand the trail ratings there. How were the first 2 trails double blacks? Every jump was (small &) a table…
Because it’s Ontario
Will my hard tail survive out there 😂? Me and a buddy wanna go out there soon before seasons over.
Never been, but by the looks of it-YES!!! I’ve taken my Hardtail to many lift served bike parks lol, I just stay away from technical double black trails and walk any large drops or jumps😅
Amazing video bud! Showcasing all the trails at Horseshoe Bike Park! Keep shredding.
Hard to tell, but did you ride that with clipless pedals? wow.
Why's this not on trailforks? I was wondering what it's called, i always see it when I'm riding Leviathan.
That’s a good question! Top secret I guess
It is on trail forks it’s called leviathan
Yo bro that's awesome!!
Thanks!
I haven't been on the DV trails for a few years now. Why did they clear cut all the trees?
Metrolinx transit project
Where is that trail exactly located at DVP trails? Which trailhead?
This is on the ridge trail, start at loblaws redway trailhead.
@@AdventureTrailsTO Thanks a lot, I'll check it out. Is this before or after the G-out...haven't been to The Ridge for almost a year..lots of changes
There is an alt line down to the left off the ridge that has been there for a while. Saw it back when the trees were still there
Nice! i'll check it out.
Wicket
Fast!! Will a FS 140mm trail bike survive there?
That's plenty of travel. You might just need to increase your shock pressures if you are going to be hitting the jumps.
Yeah that would be great. In this video i'm riding a SC 5010 - 140/130
High level of riding....
Bought my bike from Austin at Bateman's and see this video in my feed haha 😃
I assume you entered via Leaside Ridge? I have never seen anyone ride that, certainly not on video.
You could also enter off millwood rd as a ride starting point
shredding!
I moved away in 2016 but this brings me back. Most of the lines haven't changed! I spent a lot of time ripping through those trails. Nicely done.
hello bro how can I find this track
Nice work, I've never even tried it from that direction. Good to see you back on the 'tube!
This is incredible skill...👏👏👏
What bike are tou riding here?
Norco search xr
@@AdventureTrailsTOalso sorry, what camera equipment is this?
This was all filmed with a gopro hero 7 blk@@nandy70772

The hikers always look like NPCs in these MTB videos, just standing around arbitrarily staring into space. I'm not saying that's the case, they are likely just enjoying nature/scenery same as us, but they kinda look funny as our moment in time and space intersects with theirs briefly.
Great video & really great riding
What's up with that creepy structure in the middle of the woods ? Could just be a kids fort, but it also seems kinda sus.
Are there any parking spots??
I wish you and the rest of the youtubers who post Don Valley rides would show where the trailhead is so the viewers know how and where to access these trails. Everyone starts their vids when they are already on the trails. Extremely frustrating.
Thanks for the feedback. I think platforms like Trailforks or strava are sufficient for navigating around trail networks.
Those apps require subscriptions to be useful. Anyway, just a gripe of mine. Nothing personal. I appreciate the vids otherwise@@AdventureTrailsTO
yo idk if u wil see this baed on how long u have been unactive but i just wanted to say i lovr ur vids. they insprie me to get out of the house and go riding.
Thanks! I appreciate that comment. It's been a busy summer but I hope to continue posting new videos when time allows.
No info about the parks, just video of bikes and trees
you skipped the last sketchy ass jump that goes through the annular tree gap
That didn’t exist yet
@@AdventureTrailsTO oh yeah thats completely reasonable, I just assumed it was because it was fucked
Great trails, fantastic riding at a fast pace. We love df
Hit this exact trail today for the first time by accident with a trek marlin 6 in a tank top and 0 gear. Let me tell you, i sh*t bricks. All credit to you. Mountain biking aint a joke. 👏🏽
