I'm not that strongly against female Astartes, I just don't see the point. First, we basically already have female Astartes. I'm talking about the Adepta Sororitas who fight alongside the Astartes as one of the few fighting forces that can match an Astartes's strength. Second, an Astartes is so filled up with hormones etc. that a female Astartes would essentially be a man. It’s very similar to the question of female armor: The best female armor is essentially male armor with a slightly wider chest plate.
