Bachmann N Scale Thomas & Friends Haul & Unboxing
I’ve recently picked up some more additions from Bachmann’s excellent N Scale Thomas line. A new engine, and a few pieces of rolling stock- all of which are outstanding. Can’t wait to see where Bachmann goes with this line!

Bachmann Thomas Weathered Tankers Custom Showcase HO/OO Scale
มุมมอง 397ปีที่แล้ว
Here is a short video showcasing the Bachmann TTTE tankers I weathered up a few years ago. I'm very proud of how these turned out, and feel they represent what is seen in the model series quite well. Enjoy! This video is intended for a general audience. Bachmann Thomas HO/OO Modified Custom Model | Thomas Model Showcase
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
Here is my custom Bachmann Thomas using a modified Bachmann shell with added detail! This is one of my favorite models in my collection, and I hope you enjoy it as well! Based heavily on the CGI series, I did my best to capture what was on screen and turn it into model form. Thank you for watching! Bachmann HO Scale N&W J Class 611 "Spirit of Roanoke" DCC Sound Value Model Overview and Running
มุมมอง 3.1Kปีที่แล้ว
I've recently purchased Bachmann's latest release of their Norfolk & Western J Class locomotive in HO Scale. This example being number 611 "Spirit of Roanoke." I do not own a DCC system as of yet, so this video shows how this model functions on regular DC operation. I found that this model was a bit temperamental and inconsistent with its performance, but these may be due to the DC operation. I...
Bachmann Thomas Haul (Rolling Stock, Accessories, and More!) HO/OO Scale Haul
มุมมอง 389ปีที่แล้ว
This video is intended for a general audience with adult collectors in mind. In this video, I’ll be showing my recent Bachmann purchases- including rolling stock, accessories, and engines! Enjoy!
So dcc/sound value locomotives can still be operated on dc power or is it just this particular Bachmann one?
Most, if not all, of Bachmann’s sound and DCC locomotives have a dual mode decoder. This allows them to work on DC power, albeit with limited control over sound and lighting features.
@@MoreTrainsPlease oh ok gotcha! Thanks for the info 💪🏽
The Bachmann models really arent that bad, they just need some custom touches. Yours came out fabulously! I do wonder where one can get those 3d printed parts now that Shapeways is kaputski.
Thomas will be mad when he finds out about this
u sell these?
The color and material looks prop accurate
When I first saw the thumbnail, I honestly thought that this was a CGI RENDER of Thomas!! (Must be the matte finish!)
Cool!
Id love to get this guy being as how im from the area. However no smoke unit? Thats like... the best part of these steamers. Im not familiar with takings these things apart and modifying them either. Oh well.
Just got one, this thing is a POS. Running on unitrack 22, it binds in the turns badly
Sorry to hear that. It’s definitely more suited for wider radius turns. I have not ran mine since filming the video as it’s just not enjoyable to run.
@@MoreTrainsPlease it’s jamming on 22 curves and derailing on the “s” switches. Kind of crazy how bad this thing is and they try to charge $500 on the site. I was hoping to get their Dreyfuss if this was good until BLI ran them again or MTH came back…but nope
@@DietPizza1 any further luck with this?
@@DanthehorseI returned it, problems solved :)
How does it run still? Thinking about getting one to try in DCC/soubd
Nice
Dear sir, Thomas looks stunning! I've watched this amazing video of yours like 25 times! I'm looking for some expert advice. I decided purchase brass buffers for a bachmann Thomas project, instead of shapeways 3d printed ones (because they were the same price for better quality) They were like 35$ 😬 for four an I would rather not destroy them. My question is would you recomend sanding them before painting? or just painting them right out of the packet? What do you usually do? 🤔 I know you are very talented in this domain.😄 Thanks for reading!
Thank you for watching, and thank you for the kind words! For my Thomas, I did not do any sanding on the buffers before painting. They were glued, primed, and then painted. I haven’t had any issues so far. Hope that helps!
Thank you so much! You are such an underrated TH-camr! @@MoreTrainsPlease
love your vids keep it up
No whistle?
No whistle while running on standard DC unfortunately. The whistle can be controlled on DCC, but I do not own a DCC system.
It has been my experience that many Bachmann Locomotives (even Spectrum) are notoriously lacking in lubrication brand new out of the box. A good dose of LaBelle in the right places might drastically improve this model’s low speed performance.
Thank you for the tip! I’ll have to give it a try!
Wow those look amazing the weathering especially
Thank you!
they look incredible your weathering job you gave them@@MoreTrainsPlease
are you going to make a layout?
One day I hope!
wonderful
If Bachmann wasn't so lazy with the faces, it would still be a big improvement.
It too good I. Love it so much
Better than me
But I need a face
Thank you!
Nnn😂🎉😂
I love how you did with him!! The way you customize him reminded me of Stephen's (SodorRailwayModeling) version on Thomas.
Thank you! He was a big inspiration for this project!
I’d love to be this good at weathering when I return to modelling railways.
If only I could do that
Practice makes perfect!
Much better than mine
Looks so cool! How much do you think it costed you to buy all the parts and make this?
Thank you! Hard to say, but if I had to ballpark estimate, I’d say $50 or so on top of buying a Bachmann Thomas. That includes parts, faces, paint etc.
@@MoreTrainsPlease thanks. sounds like a great budget. You’ve inspired me especially with the cool markits link couplings.
This looks Great! It looks kinda like a scaled down version of the G-Scale Version of Thomas
Thank you! I thought the same thing!
This slaps so hard!
Thank you!
Hi this I cool keep it up

Where did you find the face?
Thank you! The faces are from @trainstorm1225. He has the files available for printing on his Twitter.
he looks absolutely amazing!!!

We got a perfect CGI Thomas here.
Thank you!
Love this model! This really shows you could still make a Bachmann Thomas looks so good. Keep up the great work!
