    I took the compressor on my car apart and its very interesting. The high pressure side holds the oil in a tiny sump and also the high pressure forces the oil into the bearings and such. There are some baffles to keep as much oil in the compressor. Explains why they survive just fine on low refrigerant and propane and all that crazy stuff.

    p0452 I have this code replaced 2 fuel tank pressure sensors...one was used but knew was working then put new one in.. I cant find a leak. I can drive the car let it idle doesnt come back. Drive the car 25 mles and randomly comes back.. Checked the plug to the sensor. The voltage seems fine. P0452 Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input. The little cheap scanners all say its just a Fuel pressure sensor. I do notice there seems to be no pressure when I release the gas cap and have tried and extra one I had and that didnt make a difference either. My cheapo Obd2 code reader does have live datea and freeze frame but no rhyme or reason to that...Some times it throws the code at idle after drive for 10 miles other times going 30 mph and higher rpm...I was wondering if the evap purge valve solenoid gets stuck open sometimes...I did test it and heard it clicking and getting the vacuum. I dont want to throw parts at it but inspection is this month and my State you cant have that dumb code.. Makes no sense...I dont smell gas..cant find a leak. Gas mileage seems totally fine...The car runs really well for the age.

    • @allaspects3866
      @allaspects3866 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry for the late response, just now seeing it. p0452 code references low input, meaning pressure being measured is below threshold. You would need to get a scan tool that can accurately measure the voltage output with the sensor plugged in during driving cycles. Something is open not allowing the fuel tank to seal enough for the pressure minimum to be met in the computer.

    Was it hard to fill up still even after replacing the vent valve underneath the bed? I got the PO440 code 2 weeks after putting in a new fuel pump. I've replaced the vent valve underneath the bed twice (it was fueling up good full throttle for a couple weeks and then it was having the same problem of having to hold the fuel dispenser at half throttle or less to be able to fill up) and the solenoid valve on the intake manifold as well as a new gas cap and still get this code. I have the company sending me out another new fuel pump to replace the one I just put in 2 months ago. Hopefully that does the trick and it is the fuel vapor line check valve on the pump itself since I am still having the filling up issue and I've replaced the other components.

      corr1chevy my issue lied in the fuel pump assembly. when I bought it brand new, the device that lets fuel vapor out of the fuel tank was locked and would trap vapor. I also replaced the same components you did, but the device on the fuel pump is what allows vapor to those components. I would check the fuel pump, and look at the device I described as "anti rollover valve" in the video series.
