Does it work with blueretro adapter?

According to the user manual, if you want to connect with Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox X, Xbox series console, you should connect an original Xbox 360 wired controller only to connect to the fighting stick's boot USB port. Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, Xbox Series Wireless Controller and the third party can't not connect, can't not use.

i would like to have an original astro city controller, but not fightbox. i had a bad experience with them, (i have the f9 fightbox). the quality of the materials are trash and even the sanwa buttons are fake

if you got these cheap they were good to transfer the smaller pcb and the vmu holder inside something more modern like a hori rap 3 onwards and leave a vmu inside.

I really really loved this stick, but the damn tether just stopped working. I saw this problem coming a long time ago when I referred to the need for the tether as a "huge engineering fail". I heard the 'MAGIC-X Wireless Controller Adapter' was a workaround - as you would simply need to insert the USB into the joystick, rather than tethering a controller, but $80 later, that didnt work for me either. SAD :( #RIP

The downside of the PowerA Fusion Fightpad is that the d-pad breaks easily, especially the inner pivot, due to the cheap plastic.

I bought so many of these. The drewmcast version was the best and blue/white soul calibur edition was the prettiest! The only downside was the joystick had a very weak spring so wave dashing took getting used to

I have both the SFII and Mega Man SNES pads - they're decent for what they are. The membranes for the L and R buttons do feel very different between the two pads though.

How can you save the game progress?

I suffered a stroke earlier this year, so its kind of hard for me to play fighting games as I can't fully feel the buttons with my thumb. So, I'll probably be grabbing this. Thanks for the great review

Protip: Find the cheapest AA batteries you can and wrap them in tape/put them in ziploc bags to weigh down the stick. Or really any heavy object.

Very nice project, looks great! There also exists a eight button version of this stick and I need one for a second player, so I want to buy it (~65€/$) and mod it with Sanwa parts (of course). Snap-in buttons would've been the better solution for sure!

I got the 8bitdo working on S mode with the 2.4ghz dongle, not sure if you need to update the arcade stick and dongle to have the same results on your end first but once it’s connected you just have to press Select + A on the controller for it to map correctly for fighting games, works like a dream

Read the manual. You don't need those adapters. I never did.

I just got this, a lot of the Neo Geo AES games came out for the PS2, it's probably why SNK made this, I bought this also to play Street Fighter games for the PS1/PS2 and Well as MK, MK2 and MK3 for the PS2 and other fighting games.
