How To Set Cruise Control Gen 3 Hayabusa

How To Set Cruise Control Gen 3 Hayabusa
The right side button can be used for either speed limit or cruise control . What you say is right only when it’s on cruise control mode ; to change the mode u must hold the mode button till the centre turns green ( the speed limiter s speed would dissapear ) . After that it’s exactly like you say
Riding without gloves is the definition of stupidity…
All that going on, and thats the best you got? Go back to yammie's noob channel troll.
Two great tips, I love the "flip tool" and the gear oil is awesome tip, I hate! Cleaning all that sticky crap off bikes with chain lubes, thanks man
It also means that you have to sit on it while you warming up the Busa
This happened to my 100km old Gen 3 Hayabusa today at the gas station. It's about 30 degrees C outside so the bike was very warm. After filling it with gas, it struggled to turn over and wouldn't start. On the third attempt it fired up. I noticed a symbol appeared on the dash but can't recall what it looked it. I also have a high-powered lithium battery too.
What year is it?
@Mikaeel84 2024
@@n0surrendawas it 93 octane?
@@Mikaeel84 it's called 98RON which I believe is equivalent to your 93. The fuel in there before was from the dealer so probably a lower RON/octane. I'll see how it runs now it's got a higher octane fuel.
Ive been watching your tutorials about the gen 3 busa settings before i got one, finally got it and u are spot on, u made it easy to understand for as for me was a little intimidating. Dude im local in Houston, always looking to ride with other people, let me know man , thanks
damn these vids are useful, I just bought a white 2024 model and I didn't have a clue how to set it up - so thanks for these very helpful demos
It is definitely a heat sensitive electrical- distribution issue in my experience . Bike starts fine in cold UK conditions even after a 6 week lay-up .... but in 40 degrees C air temp , stuck in total gridlock on a shanty road in Italy, stop starting the engine with the killswitch was a 50-50 gamble . However , switch the ignition off totally , resetting the electronics to a fresh start works every time . I'd consider maybe ABS pump load and logic combined with gyro load ... the ABS being reset and idle after full ignition recycle until the wheel sync signals are confirmed ..... just a pure guess . It is a regular issue known in the dealership . Be interesting to resolve as there are so many great things about the gen3 over previous models.
Thanks for the info much help now my problem is now is clutch need to get rid of that BTL thats in it 😂
Great video, I never used mine, but I'll try it out
i got my gen 3 2022 busa in march 2023 with 400 miles. i often had hot start issues after getting gas (highest widely available grade is 91 in phoenix, AZ). got the bike dyno tuned/ECU flashed with new full exhaust system in june 2023. i sometimes get the hot start issues, but not nearly as much as before the tune. also, i am now noticing a slower, dragging cold start. i’m currently at around 7500 miles. batteries do tend to die quicker in phoenix with all the 100+ heat, so i’m gonna buy a trickle charger to see if that does the trick.
I got the same problem . Iam going to flush the ecu next . I will contact you if the problem will be gone
@busadepot
Hey i remember when your hayabusa had a hot start issue but i never seen you say how you got it fixed?
Much needed because my 23 has the same issue

Omg I’m so sorry for your loss. That is horrendous. Wishing you and your family all the best.
Thank you for the kind words
I own a 2023 suzuki hayabusa Gen 3. I've got 2200 miles on the bike. All of a sudden, I'm having starting issues. I figured it may be my battery, I'm not sure. I can't do what you do. I'm not mechanically inclined at all. I do have an extended warranty, so it's off to the shop for me.
I'm about to drop that video in the next day or two
My bike does this. I just got it.
Hey boys. Suzuki definetly knows about the problem. I ordered my 22 in 21. Im in SoCal and was able tobe #3 to receive my new Busa. Problem was almost imediate. I say almost because delivery was in April. By June the problem appeared. Warmer months. Bike running hotter. Anyways, long story short. Dealership called in the Suzuki rep. They were able to duplicate. Suzuki remapped the fuel. Didnt fix completely, but running much better with fewer probmatic starts. Another problem to be aware of. When starting in cold weather (40f) it starts and runs like its missing 2 cyl. Took it to the dealership. They cleaned the throttle bodies and resync. No more problems with that issue. Still waiting for an update to the starting issue. If you dont take it to the dealership, Suzuki wont know how bad the problem is. All my work was under warranty. No cost to me. Be safe boys. ✌️
how to set up wheelie control? Thank you)
So very sorry for your loss.❤❤❤
Thanks brother!
Mine goes to white ci4cle and the up and down just sets a speed .. will not engage the cruise
Did u ever find out why your hayabusa was having hot start issues? Im going through the same thing and dont know what to do
Hope your healing up well hope to see you up at work soon
I’m having the same problem with my gen 2 I purchased in December of 2023 it’ happend like 3 times in the past 2 months it was hot yesterday I rode for like 45 mins stopped at the store to get a soda came out at 1st it sounded like a week battery then it was just cranking let it sit for like 2 minutes then it starterd rite up rode to my buddy’s house turned it off then immediately tried to start it back up and it started like nothing happend
Hey man. Thanks for the video. I know this is a bit old but I've got a question for you. When you did that 8K launch, did you have the TC and LF on? I am a new Busa owner and I have been driving around in B Mode with the TC and LF at 5 each. I seem to get that 2nd Gear Quick Shift Lag whenever I get on it. I was wondering what was causing it. You think it could be the TC or LF? Thanks Man!
Thank you so much, I’m 6’5” and just got my busa last night and I was so cramped on the 3 hour ride back, I’ll be ordering these asap
Start it in Neutral… only happens when it’s in gear with clutch in ..
What oil filter do your run on your hayabusa good sir?
If its a heat issue, wouldn't the bike do this every time you turn the bike off, and then try to start it? The bike gets hot every time you ride it.
If I’m looking at this I’ve got this problem! This started three days ago on a 2023 at 4500kms. Put the side down from stanfding stop, in first gear to bring it to a stop in gear in a hill which I never do. Then it didn’t want to start. Went through about three cycles, feels like a fired battery at first, and then turned the whole thing off and left it for about a minute and it started up fine. It’s happened twice since then always hot for example leaving petrol station.😢
When it does it crack the throttle as it turns over will fire right up.
I feel sad for myself, i have knee hypertension, i can't do calve raises, and I have a misaligned toe which makes me walk and run on one side and everybody makes fun of me for it, I'm only 17 and suffers, at least i still can ride bikes wich is one of the things I value the most😌
So at the service reset screen I get that I can put in whatever amount of mileage until next service, but do you put in todays date or a date that you want the next service on. ? 🤔
You doing good I enjoy watching your videos you a big guy and you like a very nice guy and I hope you're feeling better thank you
Where can I drop where can I buy those drop-down pegs for my boosa
Just had my 1st 3 rides on my Anniversary edition.. definitely smooth and has nice mid range!
Thanks for info
Same thing with my 2023 took it to local dealer they Bled the brakes. They charged me for service.they said it wasn’t covered under warranty, cause it wasn’t mechanical. Call Suzuki they also said that it was not covered under warranty.. Brand new motorcycle thanks for the customer service Suzuki…
Whether we do it ourselves or pay someone. With the God speeds we go. Lets just take care of it. Man this sucks because I thought of taking to dealership as I have 2023 as well. But I am here to learn from our friend and teacher. Doc at BusaDepot
