As far as I've seen, the story and dialogue have been rewritten in such a way that most story beats are maintained, but framed in a more elaborate way. It even takes a few liberties to establish a clearer continuity with the other World games, whereas in canon that's a lot more nebulous. They definitely knew how to take advantage of DW2's unique setting.

I keep grinding and this mod also rebalancing the exp gained on every wild digimon including boss, and yes you still can using cheat engine

@@dramonkiller3831 i played the original version on psx the grind was tedious as hell

The alternative mod also change some digimon colours to fit like anime or modern digimon games

I afraid they'll not use that or maybe their attack doesn't triggering counter

The music at the end ir from Core Tower, the penultimate dungeon of the game, which was also where you fought the guardians. Although the the original game, you only fought the guardian representing your team (Data for Blue Falcon, Vaccine for Gold Hawk, Virus for Black Sword)

The music is all in the original. Everything else from the script to the battle menu (when selecting attacks),to the damage output and effects of those attacks,and the assimilation of this boss were all done by the modder

That's tsukaimon skill but in this mod you can only get that skill by recruiting solarmon (with agumon and clearagumon) and goburimon (with numemon and redvegiemon), it cost 5 mp and doesn't deal much dmg on ally

There's no patch for skipping the animation but you can reduce the duration of that animation by using duckstation emulator then go to settings, system, look for cd rom seek speed up and cd rom read speed up, set both to highest value

Yeah it packed with some digimon texture to looks better and yeah it works also in epsxe

I set the cd rom red speed and cd rom seek speed to max and overclocking it to 300%

@@dxy9 the emulator called egg ns, it's a emulator that running switch games but you need high end spec phone (recommended snapdragon 855 and above) and also this emulator using some kind of VIP to run the game but don't worry you don't have to spend money to get that, make new account in that emu and then you'll get 4 days VIP
