The brits didn't took over the cape colony, they contaminate the Cape of Good Hope with their presence and infested the Cape with their stooopid language. And that is when all problems in SA started. If there were no brits in the Cape, the Groot Trek would not happen.

The Shirazi Princes, present Iran, ruled the east coast of Africa for more than 5 centuries, the Omani Arabs came only after the Portuguese and lasted only 3 centuries before the British took control.but yet we tend to present the east coast of Africa's history only under the Arab influence. I think the Shirazi rule has more impact than the Arab presence.

The root word ntu applies like in kinyanrwanda, among other bantu languages, to humans: umuntu; to things: ikantu; to places: ahantu; and to ways of being: ukuntu . This root word detives from the Egyptian verb wnn (wn): exist, be. In Egyptian also, wnn (wn) applies to humans, to things, to places and to ways of being! See the article by Luka Lusala lu ne Nkuka, De l'origine égyptienne du mot 'muntu', in Congo-Afrique, n° 577, Septembre 2023, pp. 842-846.

Please, stop spreading these lies made by colonialist linguists. The bantu languages are just a current evolution of ancient Egyptian. Learn mdw ntr (ancient Egyptian), and you will realize it immediately. Bantus are from Egypt. The migrations are from the east to the west. The proto-bantu is the ancient Egyptian. Read the book by Luka lusala lu ne Nkuka, De l'origine égyptienne des Bakongo. This is more important than what it seems for today's geopolitics (in Africa or elsewhere), largely because China follows pretty well the Bismarckian model as "rising start" great power. Of course nobody is trying to establish new actual colonies but the wider geopolitical implications do apply for sure. Pronunciation note: Angra Pequenha = little cove/bight in Portuguese. Pequenha is pronounced "pekenja" or "pekenya" ("e" as in "pet", "a" as in "pat", the "u" in "qu" is always silent in Portuguese, Spanish and, I believe, also French, but not in Italian).

West Africa (Niger specifically) was one of the pioneers of steel/iron smithing globally, second only to the Hittites. This in both cases probably owes to the difficulties of procuring tin to make quality bronze (otherwise it was what is generally labeled the Bronze Age).

Where you posit Bantu origin excluded other Niger-Congo language and cultural group, which Bantu language is only one of them. The origin of the Bantu was in the Sahara region. Their final dispersal region is in modern day Nigeria/Cameroon border area. Bantu cultural expressions are not different to their West African kinsmen either. Do your research.

Good report even if I miss more detail on what country was doing what at what time. AFAIK, all European colonial powers except Castile (later renamed "Spain"), and also many Muslim powers, actively participated in the African slave trade without much consideration if any at all. Castile actually banned its subjects from it but welcomed the import of slaves to America via other countries (first Portugal, later Britain most notably) and it'd be the last European colonial power to actually abolish slavery in the colonies (Cuba). Portugal, Britain, France and the Netherlands were the most active powers in the Atlantic slave trade (and also in the development of plantations in America and first of all in Madeira, the first modern planatation colony) but the likes of Denmark, Sweden, Prussia, etc. also had slave trading outposts at one time or another.

The Afrikaner history is much more complex than what you are suggesting here. Those who know their history, and those who lived through it, will immediately tell you that your "opinion" on the matter is nothing more than a opinion and stringing together some cherry picked facts hardly captures the truth, or at the very least, the reality of the matter. It is sad to see a picture of Afrikaner woman and children in a concentration camp, shown in this video without you siting those facts... Afrikaner woman & children died in British concentration camps by the thousands, along their black counter parts. Imagine seeing the famous Hector Pietersen photo in a "history" class but not getting any actual information on the subject matter. The history of British concentration camps and who died in them is well documented, as well as the history of Southern Africa, the British taking prisoners to St Helena, Bermuda, India and Ceylon. Before these segregation policies, there was bloodshed on this soil, and all very well penned, something that eluded the Black Africans at the time. Imagine we could open a history book, written by a black man, in a native African language, perhaps Xhosa, about their own history in the southern tip of Afrika, and read about it through the lens of their own peoples... nope we would need to wait well past the 1900's before a Xhosa book was written and surely not about history.

He ended up being killed and (tortured I think ) cause he wouldn’t give up a slave who he was guiding to freedom. I forget his name but I can’t believe I can’t find his story anywhere. I wonder what your aim is here? Because you really don't know my history as a Boer. I am no Afrikaaner. And what you said here is half a truth in other words a complete lie. If we the Boere was really racist as you say we would have , and were able to whipe out the african tribes of South Africa. Full stop. Yet they are overwhelmingly , like in the 1900 the majority. But we Boere chose not to, why? Keep spreading the hate, we the Boer nation are still very strong today. And we are closely monitoring who is friend and who is our enemy. We the Boere are friends of God, but enemies of the world. Be warned! Shalom
