Dry Creek Bed Drainage | Our Favorite Project
This is one of our most favorite projects that we have gotten to work on. The end result turned out amazing and this became the best yard on the block.

We got the opportunity to demo the Ditch Witch Sk1550! We are really impressed with this machine! It is powered by a 44hp Yanmar, and it has a 1,558 pound lifting capacity! As you could see in the video the machine was able to lift a full pallet of retaining wall stones which weighs around 2,500 pounds! Please Like, Comment, and Subscribe! Does it work better with Fat guys as operators ?
Actually yes. A few times I've leaned off the back of it with a coworker to lift a too heavy sod/stone palate or root ball. The company I work for got one of these 2 years ago to move around tight spaces where our tractor loaders would not fit... But of course it has a lot less lift capacity than the larger tractors, so we tend to push it too hard some times.
That increases the lifting capacity. ;)

Cows have three stomachs, they can just about anything.
For around $850 you can get a weight kit and raise that lifting capacity to 2000#. (:
Why do you want to INCREASE says 1560 lbs. Based on 35% your tip capacity is 4500 lbs. Yard of concrete is 3300lbs. 8 rows X 4 rows. X 80 lbs = 2560lbs To hard on the front bearings. You have a full size skidsteer it will lift more than the compact. There is no place a full size machine couldn't do the job done quicker and better. Why don't he use it for what it was made for. SMALL TIGHT SPACES. These demonstrations are just that. I have a 500SK with platform. They are meant to go into tight spots where a large machine can't. Width as low as 52 in comfortable. Allowing 4in tolerance. Better 6. I worked on one last week with 12 in. And a gas meter. Ours is rather at 500lbs. Tip capacity 1450 tip capacity. With platform I have lifted 1600 lbs. Over 1600 with 2 big guy's on it.
How much does such a minitractor ?
I would love one of these, but as a Christian, the witch decal is a deal breaker. So sad...

I’m a Christian and I have the SK1050. Greater is he that’s in me then the one that’s in the world. I serve the most high God, the creator of the universe, so why shall I be afraid of a decal? Do you have any idea how silly you sound?

+Wesley H. Ditch Witch allowed us to demo the machine to make this video. We absolutely love the machine! It has plenty of power to get whatever you need done! As far as the price goes I can’t remember how much Ditch Witch of Oklahoma said it was but I think it was around $40k-$45k

No 4 way bucket , but appears to have provision for it . Maybe look at the Vermeer 450 TX
No vermeer comes close to a ditch witch
They make a 4-way bucket for it, this guy probably just didn't purchase one. They have several buckets
So what are your thoughts on this machine? Strong undercarriage? Strong hydraulics? Reliable? I'm doing some research. Any feedback is much appreciated. :)
Looks like it's pushing about 2.5 buckets worth on that second run!
