I did this "defrost" trick, it did help but will not get colder than 50°. Freezer is working great! Can you help further?

Thank you. Your video was excellent and so easy to follow. This helped, as my return was blocked by ice. However, my DAMPER Door between freezer and fridge was NOT opening. I watched another video to open it. Now all is working again. Thank God for helpers like you that save so many people time and money!

Thank you... Thank you.... Thank you... Ummmm ..Let Me Say Thank you again... For posting this video..... You saved me from buying a new refrigerator... Because we were feed up with the problem... Especially after changing the filter and that didnt solve the problem.. There is another video posted of a guy changing the thermist sensor and that resolved his problem.. I was about to purchase a new sensor and change it until I saw your video ... The return vent had ice... And dust on the condenser coil... And now the fridge works properly again.... Again... Thanks for posting this video... It will definitely help a lot of people out.. As it has already done...

It’s a great small truck. That inside plastic scratches very easy especially where you grab the seat belt, and I haven’t seen anything that would cover the scratches up.

I had the H on the freezer side.. almost forever.. I thought it meant H for HIGH, I have noticed that my ice cubes freeze together- and wont come out .. i thought maybe a condensation issue- I started getting the low temperature beeping today... Its fairly warm inside, I pulled the fridge away from the wall, and pulled the cardboard cover off the lower back, and vaccumed inside there, and woo wee.. if you have pets- dogs ,cats, etc, the hair WILL get caught in there, I think i vaccumed up a whole nother dog lol Im gonna keep eyes on it to see if temp drops.. and hopefully that's all it is!

You should def get the cubbys , at least one for the bed. My XLT came with one on passenger side but I am thinking about spending the $50 to get another. Keeps tie downs nicely tucked away in bed area for use .

Now how do we keep it from getting blocked with ice? Mine refreezes by the next day.

How did you get those ice build up out from the lower airflow hole . I am not sure how to get those ice buildup out . I try using hairdryer in that hole but can’t get it out .

Most comprehensive video on YT. I'm buying a Maverick in the near future whenever my local Ford dealer gets one in, there lot is full of non-hybrids and I want the better mpg and front wheel drive isn't a problem. I'm currently driving a 2019 Honda Insight EX hybrid and love driving a hybrid. It gets 48mpg around town and anywhere from 52-63mpg on the interstate once I get out of the mountains of east Tennessee so I used to driving a hybrid! I'm also keeping the Honda, I want a truck because it's the ultimate utility vehicle.

How long did it take to reach working temp. I did what you suggested, and i have air flow its been 9 hours and its cool but not as cold as it usually was when it was working

I just picked up my 2024 Hybrid XL in June. It is averaging 47-49 mpg, and I live in a very rural state, so just to get to "civilization" it's more than an hour's drive. I have actually gotten 53-56 mpg on a longer trip, keeping the speed at about 55-58 mph. It'll do 65 in a heartbeat, so no problem there!! I've had absolutely no problems, I think Ford has many of the kinks worked out in the 24 model. (I hope!!) For my money, this is the best little truck out there!! 👍👍

I have the same truck as you(My first XL hybrid) from 2023. The MPG is excellent ( 44mpg) and a tankful of full gas can travel from Brooklyn NY to Niagara Falls without stopping for gas. As of now my truck has run about 16000 miles and has no problems. I think Ford made this truck is best in 150 years. 👍👍👍

Nice review - I've been on the fence whether to get a hybrid or a traditional engine/transmission version of the Maverick. Thank you for sharing the features on your Maverick. The truck is a great value for people needing a safe, reliable, no frills small utility truck.
