In this episode i'm showing you the beginning of my ownership of my '93 Supra. Please subscribe to stay updated on the car!
Inject 100hz signal to the gauges. Put the Tach at 2k RPM. Put the speedo at 142 km/h. Use a potentiometer to mark the stock position s of the temp and fuel and insert them accordingly. That's it.
Is it possible to convert a rhd supra mk4 to LHD ؟
How much for the TRD one that you installed at beginning and can you swap a 180km to 320km
Will speedo calibration work if im moving from a 180kmh to a 340kmh face?
You’ll need to add a speed converter. 4 wires, easy to install. You can select you need one when you order at www.hayaiautoparts.com If you have any questions/pics you can reach me at mkivsupraclub@gmail.com buddy
Swapping my jdm supra from auto to manual. Can I just buy manual faces to cover up the only automatic part? It also has an analog odo on the speedo face. Do you make a face for models like mine?
paint over it
Hi there! You can swap the tacho out for a manual one, and remove the little light assembly so they don’t light up anymore. They’re clicked in. To make sure you don’t have colour difference in your gauges i would recommend to swap them all out at the same time. You can order a facelift set at www.hayaiautoparts.com Thanks Liam!
Hey mate are you still selling these. And do you ship to sydney australia
Sure do buddy! Please send an email to mkivsupraclub@gmail.com or directly order from www.hayaiautoparts.com Thanks!
Hi I’m wondering where you got the LED lights from, if you could reply with the lights that would be great
Hello Sasha! Thanks for your comment. They come with the kit at hayaiautoparts.com You can purchase all these kits over there!
Looking forward to recieving mine. 👌
They look awesome. Can you make a rhd auto video now that you have them available ? Great work btw
Thanks! I don’t have the auto-part in my cluster so i can’t showcase that, but i can send you some pictures/video if you send me an e-mail at mkivsupraclub@gmail.com ! Thanks for the support
Awesome work! Sent here from Ryan at Purefunction
Thanks buddy! Available in US at LEDGUYS.net and rest through Hayaiautoparts.com

Just mark the zero spot before taking the needle off, with that way you can get the preload correctly for the speedo and rpm gauge. I recommend adding 2 sided tape also to the gauge faces. To get the temp and gas gauge to show correctly, there is a thread at Supraforums made by Stu Hagen, it is about speedo repair and calibration. There is tutorial how to get the needle motors to correct positions with just a correct ohm rated resistor and 12V. That way you can just put it to full position and it will be correct. To get speedo show correctly with new higher km/h one, you can just change one resistor to get it matched. 340km/h is the easiest one as it directly uses the same resistor as regular 180mph gauge (6.8K ohm)
Awesome info! That’s a good way so you won’t need to hassle later on without the transparant bezel. I would like to add a word of caution, since the ink is on the back side of the gauge faces, double sided tape is not adviced. They might damage the ink when replacing/moving them. Thanks for the tips!
Hey, could you create a list of all the parts for N/A-T thank you
Really depends on the goals, but the basics: - turbo + manifold - exhaust to fit that - wastegate - oil lines - intercooler + piping / silicones - bov - upgraded injectors - TT headgsket + arp headstuds - afr sensor, boost (oil temp/press preferred) - standalone / piggyback That’s out of the top of my head. Count on at least 3k$, to get an reliable build.
How do you calibrate the faces with the gauge cluster?
I’d love to know this too. Unless calibrated there’s only a few gauge faces that I can see working correctly. Would be keen to know prices though as I’d be keen on the 200km/h variant as that looks like it lines up with the stock design.
Hi there! I haven’t seen the response. > pricing: 150€ + shipping/paypal. Please email me at mkivsupraclub@gmail.com to order. > calibrating gauges: Gas needle - take note of gas gauge before removal. - place back with car turned on at same spot. Water needle: - Let car warm up and place at halfway point Tacho: Let car warm up and place at 750-800 RPM mark. Speedo: - drive with gps on, let’s say 50kmh on an empty road, and let a friend (or yourself) insert needle at 50kmh mark. Safer way to install speedo/tacho: - when removing, pull needle over the stopper and note down where it is in resting position. - with replacing, put back at this position and pull over the needle stopper. This should give the correct spring load as well.
Hi, i dont have a Facebook and i am interested
Please send an e-mail to mkivsupraclub@gmail.com and we’ll sort it for you!
Hello, I have a question, how do you calibrate from km / h to mph? for the ODO needle to mark the right thing ...... ???
That’s a tough one, i think best is to go from a 180 kmh to 110 mph face so no calibration is needed. Hope this helps.
@@MKIVSupraClubNL but in this case if the speedometer I want to set it to 180 Mph? How would he mark the correct thing in miles ???
I think in that case it’s smarter to buy the correct unit or find a speed signal converter kmh > mph.
What's your FB so I can find you and contact you?
I’m afraid my previous comment had a spelling mistake! Please e-mail me at Mkivsupraclub@gmail.com We’ll go from there. Thanks for the support!
Did you weld you lower runner to that ffim
Yeah correct! First tried to bolt them together, but it was really not doable. So went back and welded it on there.
When do you reckon youll make one for autos :(
I’m thinking about a small group buy.. would you like 200 or 320 kph/mph?
2:00 "the fuse box cover is a great way to keep your balls in one place" This is the automatic translation i got :D
That’d work i’m sure! :D
Very interested in these guage faces. I do not have fb so how could I buy? Shipping to usa
No problem, if you can shoot a e-mail to mkivsupraclub@gmail.com with which one you’d like, then i’ll send you a kit! Thanks
Moet je ook maar weten.
Wooow holy crap!
Supra gedaan! Wat een werk man. *QUACK*
Gaaf man, leuke muziekjes erbij.
what camshafts did you use? stock? i was thinking about bc 272 but not sure if they wil fit good
they will fit but you will need a tune after theyre installed
What wheels are those on your supra? If you don't mind me asking.
These are XXR 555’s. On fitment industries i posted the specs, google ‘xxr 555 supra’ and i’m sure you’ll come across it
@@MKIVSupraClubNL sweet! Thanks man. Love your content, keep it going 👍🏻
when adding a turbo, should we reduce the piston compression?
Yeah. A 2JZGTE has a compression of 8,5 to 1 i believe, and a 2JZGE 10 to 1. By adding a 2JZGTE head gasket, you reducde the compression to compensate for the pressure.
@@MKIVSupraClubNL ok thanks, what use your turbo?
just change the 2jzgte head gasket to turn compression piston??
Holset hx35, 12cm2 exhaust housing. The compression gets a bit lower, so it helps. The Gte is 3 layer where ge is 1 layer metal.
what did you do about CAS? and using the dizzy?
CAS = crank angle correct? So i've used the G1 + NE signals from the Dizzy to determine timing. They're pin 27 and 26 on the OEM ecu loom. The emanage can work this signal to output a timing advance/retard, but there's unfortunately a bug for logging timing. Right now i left the dizzy on, but i plan to go COP with 2ZZ coils or so. The emanage seems to support COP, i just need to figure out if they accept the coil signals.
I'm ready to buy if the price is right. Shipping to USA.
They’re 150€ + shipping. You can find the for sale post on most supra groups on fb, please message me!
You can now also e-mail me at mkivsupraclub@gmail.com and we’ll get it sorted. To USA is 190$ shipped tracked/insured
How much is a kit with new faces?
150€ + shipping. You can find the for sale post on most supra groups on fb, please message me :)
Do you also make these for autos?
I’m sorry, none show the gear indication :(
Since now I make them for auto’s as well :) if you’d be keen please send an e-mail to mkivsupraclub@gmail.com or go to hayaiautoparts.com and you can purchase them directly!
reinstalling the needles while driving or the car is running seems like a major pain in the ass as well as easily done incorrectly
It’s honestly not that bad really, just don’t do it within traffic. On a countryroad going 30 is all it takes, 5 seconds and it’s in :)
And if done incorrectly, it is easy to redo. Don’t press them on hard, and they’re easily taken off. Repeat ‘till satisfied.
Tried this method 16 years ago. 6 attempts later and needle reads 10mph over. Stayed that way since as i ran out of patience 😂
Fair enough 😂 as i wanted to try all models on my car for testing i’ve done it several times and they’re alright
@@MKIVSupraClubNL clearly you are just better than me 😀
what version is this software? im running 2.33 on the ecu and 2.30 for laptop software. if i run 2.33 on both ecu and laptop i have to convert my laptop to Japanese language for it to work or i get errors and the software shuts down another thing y are you using the airflow map to trick the stock map sensor when you can just use boost limiter cut tab and set the max volts for the stock map sensor to read ?
I’d have to check, but i think it’s 2.33 and that’s exactly the problem i adressed. We basicly put part of the english names in the japanese DLL, and copied one so it accept it and starts without crashing. Did you manage to download the one from dropbox?
Also, i have not studied the BLC-tab that well, but i am not sure if that works on a NA sensor. I haven’t tried it, if you do please let me know your findings.
@@MKIVSupraClubNL iv have been running my jdm 2jzge na-t for about 2 years now with the e-management ultimate i can send you a copy of my files what i run on 15psi of boost something you need to understand your limiting map signals and compensating them with fuel tables that's y your fuel table is +50 and up. with 450cc injectors you should be in the negatives a little p.s im running 750cc injectors and negative -20s in my fuel table and yes in the blc-tab i run 4.48volts across the table after it hits that volts or higher which it dose the greedy map sensor takes over
Ah okay, that could be a different case with these huge injectors. Ive been told greddy only handles them until a certain amount. Did you manage to put the 750 in the IJ tab? Because that should make you want to run positive in boost area’s, but i’m not a tuner so i can’t dey/confirm that area. I remember once the map signal went above 3.5 volt or do it will cut the ignition/injection, so that’s why i used it like this. Does the BLC also alter the signal as well to airflow input on the ecu (connector b pin 15 on emanage)?
@@MKIVSupraClubNL ok ill try to make this simple your stock 2jz ecu sends signals to the greddy and the greddy changes the signal values to what you put down on your laptop then to the motor greddy ecu only goes to 80% + or - in injector tables it cant do anymore so lets say you run 1200cc injectors and you hit 80% in your fuel table and cant get your a/f to 11.0 to 11.5 while in boost then you are at the limits of the greddy ecu the lower the injector ccs the more you have to add fuel the higher the injector ccs the less you have to add fuel lets say you don't have a greddy ecu and only running the stock 2jz ecu and you install 750cc injectors you will run full rich like retard rich because the stock 2jz ecu dos not know its running higher cc injectors the BLC tab all it dose is stops reading volts from the stock map sensor after a set volts is applied on your laptop then reads from the greddy map sensor think of it like this its a one way road 2jz stock ecu sends signals to greddy then to motor not backwards way
Leuk dat je weer wat verder bent met je Supra
Very informative
what throttle cable you use
I ised a celica gt4 throttle cable, quite long but it works!
Great vid. What did you do with the water pipes under the old intake. Also the icv
Cheers. I capped them on the intake, as i’d barely drive the car in real cold weather. Iacv took the tubes off and mounted under intake.
What turbo manifold?
This is a self welded piece. Got the flanged lasercut, and just used some bends and T's to weld it together.
Goede dag, komen er nog updates. Vindt het leuk om het te volgen.
Ik wil zeker nog nieuwe afleveringen maken!
Supra’s are soo expensive now! Have to have some serious money to own one!
Bought this end 2015, where they were still reasonably priced.. they’re getting insane yea
Are you running stock ecu with that custom FFIM?
I’ve got the Greddy Emanage Ultimate + stock ecu on this setup. More on the tuning in the next episode!
Great video! Can't wait to use this for my car
subscribed :DD
what FFIM is that?
Hey TD, It’s a custom piece of aluminium, welded onto the stock runners.
Would you like subtitles, or is the english clear enough? Thanks!
It's all loud and clear boii👌🏻
Was nice and clear thanks :) Nice video!
Je moet wel al je bouten goed vast draaien he Mikey! 😂
Deze hebben we denk ik om 2-3 uur s’nachts nog vastgezet, en dan is te zien 😂👍🏻
i see you have the greddy fuel cut defender wired in you don't need that the e-management ultimate has that built in just enable it thru the software its a great piggy back
Ah really? The one on the emanage loom? I believe for the earlier versions for a jza80 you needed it, but i can’t be sure. It was prewired, but it should run with it wired right?
@@MKIVSupraClubNL you dont need that box what so ever i dont know if it will mess things up if you leave it wired in i would take it out the ultimate has it built in Ps i have the same jdm motor
Try a Little bit brighter thumnail, good video tho :)
