Just to be safe you don't have to crank the motor, just go to the serpentine belt and spend the motor just enough to get the belt back on

Want to run it if the Chris Craft pump is still on the motor and has the original strut with the water pickup in it I tapped the strut water pickup so a garden hose could be screwed on pipe to hose adapter needed and then use that to cool the engine when tuning etc had a 750 Holley double pumper on it before sounds pretty good

That’s my Boat bought the bare hull from Bud Bender and put it together , if it’s the original engine it’s a 350 with a lot of head work the cam was changed the Christ Craft parts were used because it had the water pump and a good trans that would hold up, the trans was completely rebuilt used to swing a two bladed lightened 16x19 drag prop steel, the only bad was there was so much overlap on the cam the engine wouldn’t idle below 1000 rpms were are you located When I sold it the new owner may have swapped out the cam he needed a tamer running engine, really still looks good that’s the original trailer also, the exhaust is different used to run just plastic before no issues, the gill headers are the same, was a blast to drive but had a job related back injury which forced the sale am 82 know but would to have it again.

Be careful if you do this with a thrust bearing,they are in tighter and may shear that cotter pin .
