A beautiful baby!

I know a lady who had healthy triplets at 54 with donor eggs and her then-husbands sperm. Now, she's a single mom due to divorce. You and her are my she-roes! Anything is possible, if you really want it! Not everyone has to follow the traditional story of having a baby by 30. We all run our own race. And it's nobody's business but our own. I'm 47 with my own embryos waiting for me and one day, I hope to join the SMBC club! My question is would you consider dating having little kids or wait until they get older and do you wonder about having a male role model for the kid (relative or non-relative) when they get older? I worry about that because I don't have extended family around me me.

Love your videos. Had a very similar pregnancy at age 40/41 with my own egg, just tired and low iron and a random rash. The women in my family also don't get morning sickness. One thing I am concerned about with a donor egg is pre-eclampsia, I encourage everyone to ask their gynecologist openly about how to manage this risk (ASS, check protein in urine and blood pressure). If I do go the donor route for number 2 I might monitor some of this at home besides the appts at the gynecologist. Often it only happens close to the due date and you want to be prepared so there are no permanent issues to either baby or yourself.

I love your positive attitude. Your child will regret not having your genes, because you look amazing - but tbf so does she. Am looking for an egg donor for a second baby, lots to think about. I wish submitting at least baby photos and a contact *option* (not: mandate) at 18 were the norm. I think baby photos are a great compromise bc they are not too identifying for donors who at their stage of life value anonymity, but still give RPs lots of info for a good match. AND they will definitely be treasured by the resulting kids, even if no other contact can be made.

I also struggle with the "I have more time" I also learned from My experience you are so RIGHT! THE DATING APPS don't have the healthiest mates filter or not. I came back to share with you that my first donor egg transfer appears to have worked!! I'm in shock and working hard to just believe it. I watched your whole journey while going through mine. You filled me with hope and inspiration! So I just had to share with you. ❤

I love this idea making this choice isn’t always easy but I want my child to feel empowered. My genetics are very bad. Lots of mental health, alcohol, everyone has some form of autism. I have adhd, pcos, and Cushings disease. So I decided it would be better to go the double donor route. I believe it’s an act of love in my case.

Oh and I plan use a donor embryo.

If I have a child it will be an only child and plan to be single mom by choice.

I'm turning 49 in Dez 31. Have had awful experiences with fertility clinics in the last 9 years. And now youtube sent me these kind of videos (can they read your mind?!) even though I haven't been looking for them. I have exactly the same thoughts you've been having about having baby no.1! Change my mind backs and fwds 100s of times. Should I just be happy being childfree even though I'd love to be a mum? Be a mum at 49 or 50?! And then your video comes along. You look and sound great! I am black [black don't crack 😂] and usually people ask me if I'm 35 or 38...Jeez, decisions, decisions! My partner says ok but don't be disappointed if it doesn't work again! And he's right about fertility clinics being all the same: money grabbing b@stards. Hmm., what to do?!🤔

I agree with you that when you choose an unconventional path in your life, you are going to have to accept other people may be curious and even critical of your choice. But remember that every choice has a pricetag, it is just the way the world is. But that does not mean you should give up, just be ready for the realities of life. I chose not to have a child so my path was different from yours, but that does not mean it was always an easy decision, especially when I was a young woman. I wanted to be a mother during my twenties and early thirties. But when push came to show I chose to be childfree, because of my socio-economic situation. It was the right decision for me and today I don't regret it. But at the time I felt sadness and grief and that was my priceticket to pay. But today I am glad I made that decision. Just as I am sure you are happy to have your children. They are your blessings. But you will have your own priceticket to pay, and you are truly blessed when you are content and happy to pay it, because the blessing is worth it. My life was blessed, just in a different way, without children but still very much blessed. For that I will always be grateful.
