That's perfect for me-especially if winter's more snowy. I spent last 14 years in Ireland and it sucks big time- usually May and September are nice and mild(an Irish for not cold) with some sunshine. The rest is usually bad. I'd love to move to CDA or maybe Sandpoint, but that Green Card is eluding me so I decided to move back to my hometown of Gdansk, Poland next year where weather is pretty similar to what you described.

I live in Cortolane when I was 10 years old, and I want to come back but I don’t know how to do it. Looking at the comments for everywhere, seems like I wont be accepted anywhere as a californian. Even if I grew up in rural northern california and am very libertarian, people still throw that stigma on us because of all the taxing city folk that ruin everything.

Lookin to leave Commifornia and raise my Newborn in Idaho. My 14 yr old daughter is very conservative and hates Commifornia also. Id hate to relocate there and find out the Liberal rejects are turning Idaho into a shithole like CA.

Hello Josh. My family are looking to move to Idaho from Pennsylvania for the many outdoor activities it offers, great schools, neighborhoods not as big as Boise but still have good amenities. Everything sounds good but me being not into winter sports like I am summer. I'm stuck. I don't mind snow I don't mind cold weather, my family and I are very active but I'm not into winter sports like that. My hubby says I never had the opportunity to do it so I'll embrace it but I'm stuck between CDA and Boise

I would not say CDA is the best place to live, sure it's very beautiful with all the lakes and pine trees but it's been invaded by ex Californian's who have driven the price of real estate sky high not the mention the traffic for a town it's size has become brutal. They also don't tell you about the dreary long and cold winters up here. Very little sunlight to speak of during the 7 months of winter. If you have lots of money to purchase an expensive house and can deal with the winters you will be alright I guess. On a positive note though, lots of outdoor activites to enjoy, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking etc.

Im born and raised here.Cda was a great place until all the cancer causing Californians moved up here.
