It's probably the stylus! Things I just figured out about this fantastic turntable. The diamond stylus will wear down over time and when it does, your audio will suffer.

Pioneer TX-608 Tuner & SA-508 Amplifier walkthrough
Hi ,do you know how to factory reset this keyboard pleae ,ive got the manuals but cant find anything to say how
Is the tx 608 better than nikko fam 650?
What is the green button for?
A quoi sert le pre/power amp ? Pre out power in ? Thanks !!
I have the Pioneer SA 8100 but am told the the bigger brother Pioneer SA-9100 is better. I have tried so had to get hold of it in vain...
How about the receiver or amp ? Thnx
I have the Sansui 2000, no letter. Pair these with a pair of sensitive speakers, like a pair of Zu Audio, and prepare for audio nirvana. And this Sansui in the video, very easy to clean up with DeoxIT and contact cleaner.
I want to buy the SP 7700 X speaker for my 2000 A. The investment is high, is it worth it? I heard that Sansui speakers don't have good bass and this makes it difficult for those who like jazz, metal and the like... thanks!
@@valmirpguimaraes How much? I would say when compared to a speaker like the Zu Dirty Weekends, especially for Jazz... I would look for a used pair of Zu's. They sound incredible with the Sansui units, especially with Jazz and R&B. Just my .02
this is the EXACT same receiver as a Marantz 1535....no differences at all except the model title. I have no idea why they put it out with two different model names.
What kind of speakers would you get for that nowadays? The old ones aren’t findable anymore
Find a pair of Zu speakers, their Dirty Weekends, they come up for sale every now and then on the used market. They make an incredible pairing. I paired my KLH Model 5's, the new version with the 2000, and they sounded thin. I have heard others say the same about the Klipsch, where as the Zu's, that is another story. Honestly, the Zu's take these vintage Sansui units to the next level. I replaced thousands of dollars in gear with one of their Sansui 4000 receivers, and cannot believe what these Sansui units are capable of. I do own the Sansui 2000, but the Sansui 4000 simply doubles down on the sound quality of the 2000. I paid $200 for both units in working condition. I had to clean my 4000, but that was not difficult. The 2000 had to go to the shop to have the tuner adjusted, cost me $98 to repair. That Sansui 4000 is now the centerpiece of my two channel system.
Outstanding presentation and I once had in my custody the Pioneer SX-3600.
Getting back onto vynal after discovering i had an old amp stored for yrs.. To my amazement its the pioneer SA8100.. it has a slight fault nothing that a soldering iron wont fix though... just got hold of a rega planner 2 the old school version think its around the mid 1990s.. will be throwing some old B&O S75 on there which were also in storage..and i forgott i had them... I must admit evan at my age im as excited as a kid in a candy shop to get it all set up..dont you just love old school gear....
I have the sa 9100 and matching tuner
Ok I Know NOTHING about turntables but I stumbled across one of these! My question is what do I need to buy to get speakers set up to it and what kind of speakers? Thanks!
Google it
i have an av 316 and its amazing for stereo never listened to surround
hello. sorry, off topic. I bought the same turntable, did preventive maintenance, except for motor lubrication. Could you tell me how to disassemble the motor, and what kind of grease to lubricate. Thank you in advance for your response!
Does the sound measure up to a mid-price Sony deck?
Se poate ceva ritmuri in ea sau exista posibilitatea so conectam la internet sau sai punem flopy disk
$?
How much did it cost you? I have the same one and want to know where it stands
They seem to be selling right around the two hundred dollar mark in working and visually appealing condition. I would not pay more than that unless it is something really special. When new these were sold for roughly $300 +/-, around $2800 +/- in today's dollars.
Super!!!
A bomb hidden in a device like this one was what brought down Air India Flight 182
Two turntables and a microphone
I have also use this amp since 9 year it's great amp. Just like tank 45w/channel RMS. It's very heavy punchy bass. Use vintage speaker like JBL-L 112, L100, L96, POINNER HPM series speakers great sounding, With two mic and use for two singer can sing one time.👌👌👌👌👌
Tiene vomumen pero bien suave
Thats the tuner I used in my sa-9500 poor mans rack video on my channel
Pioneer SX 3800 Quartz PLL Stereo Receiver. A technologically very advanced Receiver by Pioneer of Japan. What a machine! I wish I had one. Thanks for the video. Sorry for late comment.
I sold tons of these when I worked for Lafayette Radio way back when. We saw them as budget friendly units if you didn't have the cash for Kenwood or Pioneer.
Please can I speak to a Technics technician, there is a fault on the F and A key on all the octaves, the f and a are louder when played
Is it still available?
hello. Have you listened to NAD T-741/743/754? how do they compare to the AV716?
I have same one it was expensive i think i paid high 300s low 400s keep it i bought spare parts for it i got the last power transformer ATT-104 from pioneer and 1 of each switch

While in Vietnam in '71, I ordered my stereo stuff from the PacEX catalogue and had it sent to my home back in the world. Sansui 5000X, Pioneer CS88 speakers, Sony TC-730 reel to reel tape recorder, Sansui 2050C turntable and Sony TC-127 cassette recorder. Still have it all, but the right channel is out on the 5000X and autoreverse no longer works on the reel to reel. The drive band on the turntable turned to goo somewhere along the line and sort of slumped into a puddle.
Thank you very much it to your video!!! I bought an.....
I'm looking for one of these.
Hi there, would you say the Stereo music output of this NAD is still comparable to today's AVR? I'm deciding between this and the Denon AVR2311..
todays avr sucks....this NAD will be WAY better than current models...
Es hermoso este sonido, supero a mi Akai am-75 y Sansui Au-5900
How was the performance?
I just got a sony receiver STR-DH520 at an estate sale. Hooked it up to my TV and surround sound speakers and its easy simple set up. Pretty cool. I does crank up loud. yes
I would not recomend the player , I bought mine used and it broke in the transport 500 yards of walk - broke means it wont even fire a diod.
My daily receiver It has served me for many years and still going strong 👌🏻
SHUT UP !!!!!!!!!
hey I have the same model... now can you help me how to connect this to dvd/karaoke ... what kind of jack is needed?????
The volume set is actually used with the loudness switched on . -30db you can use the loudness switch with the volume set from min to max volume. -15db volume set. loudness from min to 1:00 o’clock. Volume Set @ 0 loudness can be used from min to 11:00 o’clock. A great feature for those like me that use the loudness button 👌🏾. These instructions are per the pioneer manual for the 8100. A fantastic integrated amplifier
dont use solvent cleaners on the pots it melts the inside of the switch. hard to relace. these are known for this.
My older brother has that exact same receiver been in use still in service for 40 plus years
Hi, I have a Wintec 777. I do not know the year of manufacture of this receiver and I have not found detailed information on this model. I have it 25 years ago and I have not found anything that sounds the same. I have two Technics sb-3130 speakers and an AKAI equalizer and man, my Wintec blows my head every time I hear it. I imagine that the same thing happens to you every time you turn on yours. Greetings from Chile and I do not know if my English is that good.
Yes Francisco, it´s right! My Wintec 777 is a "Sound-Monster". Congratulation, kind regards from Berlin!!!
DO YOU KNOW HOW TO ADJUST THE TONE ARM ON THAT? I HAVE EXACT TURNTABLE AND I CANT ADJUST IT?
In case you've not yet found out: With the cartridge and stylus (but no stylus guard) attached, take the tonearm off its rest and carefully hold it in mid-air (take care not to knock the stylus), then rotate the silver balance weight (which moves it forwards & backwards on the tonearm) until the tonearm balances exactly level on its own. This is a tracking weight of zero, so holding the silver weight so it can't rotate, turn JUST the black dial on its front so it reads 0. Then turn the whole silver weight again (together with the black dial this time) until it shows the tracking weight you require. The small black dial to the right of the tonearm is the antiskating control - set it initially to the same weight as you've used for the tracking weight.
Hi, do u still have this CD player thnx? 760-978-5838
