This is a delicious beauty! I just picked up a 2023 Lagavulin DE last night! Outstanding! It's a competition between this expression and Lagavulin 16 for which one is my favourite. It is my favourite distillery. It's hard to imagine someone who loves good scotch not enjoying a Lagavulin. It's worth every penny of the $200.00 I paid for this latest bottle of Lagavulin DE! What a treat! Cuervo is not high end alcohol! Not remotely! Yikes! Cheers!

Oh I’d love this beauty! One of you did not live this! I’m surprised. This would be a huge love for me given my taste preferences - chocolate, leather, earthy, moss, sure horse stalls, farmy - this is amazing!! Love that!

Smoked rhubarb is a spot on note

Just picked up a 1.75 L for $42 out the door, because the price was comparable to Evan Williams BIB and after doing a blind taste comparison the price was the only thing comparable, the nose on the VOB was close not bad at all, but the taste....to say the VOB drinks hot is like saying that Blanton's Straight from The Barrel is a little expensive! and the finish doesn't help any...wow. I have only had the 100 proof and can't speak for other proofs? It's fine if you're using it in an old fashioned (I tried it) or to kick up the ABV on a drink using equal parts flavored whiskey with the VOB. 🥃Cheers

Keith, that sounds so good. I love the Springbank 12 CS Batch 21 with 4 finishes (sherry, bourbon, port and burgundy). And just lucked into some Longrow Red 15 year Pinot Noir that's even better. CHEERS!!

Thanks for doing this comparison. If I could find any of the 2019s I'll give it ago. The one thing that messes with me is the distiller change at GlenDronach. Will the later batches that are older under Rachel's eye be very different between the ones from Billy Walker? I've got a 2016 Allardice bottling from Billy's time there. Wondering how Rachel's batches are?

Keith, I love this stuff. I know it's not Springbank 25 but I was wondering if you drank any of the current bottling? The 12 is 43% but this 18 ranges from $82- 95 near me in NY

Hi Keith and Dave Watch all your reviews, I don't normally comment on your reviews, but I just wanted to say Glen Scotia 15year old is non chill filtered, but it is colored with e150a, I love this whiskey with out question, and the victoriana is even better, I score this whiskey a 90 points, thanks for your reviews, haven't seen any new posts, are you still doing reviews ?? Black art is one of my very favorite series. I just wish it was ever actually available here, but it’s gotten so expensive it’s probably better for me that I can’t find it

I've only had the Glenallachie 10 cask strength and it was very nice. The problem that I have with the new baseball rule is that the umps were first going after Cy Young winners. Not a great look for the sport. Not sure what they're supposed to do about the sunscreen. As long as they don't have a huge gob. Nice to see you guys back. Cheers 🥃🇨🇦🇺🇲

Haven't had one so looking forward to trying as have heard these have older casks in the mix like the old Bunna 18 did too ? Love the postage stamp Scotland poster ! :-p Cheers
