Realistically, of the speedster has a pain threshold, they can still be a very fast crawler. And crawl away from danger. Or throw projectiles, or shoot guns, or code. Basically a speedster like Barry Allen who is smart, should be nearly unstoppable. But all we see them do is try to go faster 😔 creative drain to write properly powerful speedster. Same issue as writing superman... Too powerful to be relatale, so never taps into the true potential.

The fact that Quicksilver was running at the speed of light and when he is fighting with the Apocalypse the director decided that Apocalypse would stop Quicksilver in middle because APOCALYPSE is also an EYESTER who can detect quicksilver at the exact location where he steps his foot and grabs his leg during him flying in the air getting punched in the NANO'th of a second.... imo broken legs are the same nonesense as anything else, i mean cmon, they can outrun a bullet, not to say flash can move thru time by multiple years, which basically means he can outrun speed of light.. I think even with crutches or on one leg they should be able to easily outrun anyone moving in human speed. It's also funny that people with normal strength tend to break those speedsters leg, when impact of normal human's kick is nowhere near the impact speedster's feet have to endure while running...

Did you know that ben 10 has an alien that can go even faster than xlr8? It's called Jetray and it went faster than the speed of light in order to catch up with a spaceship in deep space in the ben 10 ultimate alien episode "eye of the beholder". (And no, it's not a spin-off. It, alien force, and omniverse are all continuations of the classic series, they are all cannon, take place in the exact same universe, and the only one that isn't cannon and takes place in a different universe is the really cartoony reboot.)

You kind of skipped over the real problem with speedsters, they'd destroy the world at some of their depicted speeds.

I found the rant about the students at the Xavier School weird because they wouldn't realize that Quicksilver saved them. To them I'd likely seem like they were teleported.

All Speedsters have the potential to be the most OP characters in their respective universes, but unfortunately due to bad writing they always get the short end of the stick...

Me and my dad who grew up watching Superman were watching Invincible, and at the end of season 1 my dad randomly said that Superman would be blown to pieces by Omni-Man, now I believe that since my dad is probably older then a lot of people at this debate, 57, and I can kind of see why Omni-Man would beat the hell out of superman now.

Rest assured that The Twilight Zone was good right from season 1. You may get some enjoyment from the 1980s series as well! Not as consistent, but still, some great episodes. Glad you liked this one!

When it came out, we had The Thing looped on the Mess Deck vcr on the Coast Guard Cutter I was stationed aboard. It was a little different trying to eat with heads exploding and chests biting hands off as background entertainment.

Rod Serling was well aqainted with war and loss in his personal life. He saw his friend killed by a cargo drop crate that fell on him during the WWII... (a freak accident) So. there was always universal humanity in his productions of the Twighlight Zone..This is one of my favorites...I remember getting teary seeing Abe Lincoln in this the first time...Praise for Pip was another...The Big Tall Wish..."The Encounter" which was held out of syndication until 2016.... and my favorite, "The Hunt", (it reminds me so much of my great grandfather.)

There is no such thing as a bad episode of season of the original Twilight Zone.

The first series of the Twilight Zone has some of the best episodes. Goes down hill a bit in Series 4 because of the hour long episodes. But Series 1-3 are excellent. Great seeing your take on it.

Easy, that's super contrivance #2 (#1 was when Raven exposed herself to the CIA) I love the movie, but it has some poorly written scenes. It's still an 8/10 to me.
