    Thank you for this great to the point video. I love your method for dividing the neck hole into quarters, and that you do the neckline before doing the side seams. I have 4 projects finished on my new serger, but have been nervous about tackling the neckline!!! Thank you. ❤

    This video was so helpful! I’ve been self-teaching myself how to use a serger (Babylock Triumph) because there are no classes in my area, even at the shop where I bought it. I’m an accomplished sewist (I think 😉) on many machines, but never learned the serger and have found it so intimidating. This video has demystified so much for me and I’ll be back to your channel to see if I can learn more.

    I know this is so random and I'm so sorry for asking this!!! But is there a video on the thondlewear by chance or will there be!? Or if I can ask the poster of this video or anyone in the comments if they have done the thondlewear if you can bypass doing a seam allowance on a regular machine and use a serger like you did in this video!?🥺

    I just bought a serger and this will be my first project with it. Do you sew first then use the serger or do you only use the serger? If you sew first do you use a standard zigzag stitch?

    • @StitchUponaTime
      @StitchUponaTime 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For the hem, I just press the raw edge up 1/2" to the wrong side 1/2" and stitch 3/8" away from the folded edge using a stretch stitch.
