DV8 Front Bumper for Lexus GX460 (2014+)- Quick 1-take Review and Install Tips
The DV8 bumper appears to be a quality product with terrible, frustrating instructions. Hopefully, this'll save you all some time. Also, I forgot to mention you need to drill some 1/2" holes in the body to attach the wing supports. Holes only intended to hold a wiring harness will need to be widened to fit the M10 bolts

Yamaha FJ09/FZ09/MT09 Tracer Slipper Clutch Upgrade and cable update
มุมมอง 25K4 ปีที่แล้ว
My 2015 FJ09 had a traditional clutch. The 2017 and newer model has a slipper/assist clutch upgrade. This is a great safety, performance and comfort upgrade for about $300. My clutch was already on its last legs due to being misadjusted when I bought it, so as long as I was in there I did the update. While I had it apart, I also replaced the high friction, failure-prone cable with one that has ...

We don't need no regulation. Thurnderfoot contends lack of regulation caused this. I contend it was too much regulation, in the form of the government creating Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae in order to give loans to people who can't afford them.

    Great video. Thanks for posting. I just purchased a 2015 fj-09 with 2,800 miles on it. It rides like new so I won’t need to upgrade the clutch but I will replace the clutch cable for sure. But I’m wondering if one can grind down the grill opening to align with the harbor freight fairlead and then painted to match and then cover with the silver fairlead face plate. 🤔 When there is a will… haha let’s make it work. • @blurglide

      Everything worked fine the way I did it in the video, except that washer spring was backwards. That didn't seem to make a difference but I flipped it around anyway. Also, in the video, the little pull rack wasn't engaged to the clutch stack, so the lever pull won't be THAT light.

  • @unicycle52
    @unicycle52 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    At 17:30 in the video, the action of the lever and comments are WRONG. The clutch cable will have no tension on it and the clutch won't release if the actuator arm moves that freely. When the cover is installed correctly, the resistance on that actuator arm should be more than you can move with your thumb. (Just like when you removed the cable to start the job. Very stiff.) What you are showing is just the action of the small return spring on the cover. Great effort on the video, but this error should be edited.

      @@betamaxtuned Part 16383, seen at 3:35 in this video. You have to remove the clutch basket, but no grinding is necessary.

      Thank you. This was a rough draft just for a few friends, so I'm surprised anyone found it. I'm going back to Moab tomorrow for mountain biking, so will get some more video and hopefully cut that in, too, and find some royalty free music to put in.

    Wow - you get them in America too mate. Crazy angry freedom hating people. I thought Yankee land was the home of freedom!

      Hey I just subbed to you today. Yeah- it was, and still is compared to most places. We still have the zombies like in the video though. Are you and Aussie?

      @@blurglide yes mate. We don't have constitutionally protected free speech here, only freedom of religion. Luckily we're a wealthy country with a low population so life is good here, especially out in the sticks. Only probelm is nearly every animal here can kill you. The Eagles here attack paragliders. Big sharks and crocs attack swimmers and boats. Many snakes and spiders are deadly. Yesterday someone was killed by a Magpie (medium sized bird). Get the odd zombie crowd attacking buses and terrorising people. I liked your 4x4 video with drone footage - you should do more vids.

      @@Adventure_Bum Yeah thanks. I intend to and have lots of adventure video...skiing, scuba, jeeps, mountain bikes, motorcycles, skydiving, travel etc. It's just overwhelming to sit down and edit it all! Any tips? I visited Aus back in 2008. Nice place with nice people and my 2nd favorite country, but it seems to be going off the rails politically over the last few years! Let me know if you're ever out this way

      @@blurglide sure looks like we got a lot in common 👍 I use the old windows movie maker because it's fast and easy. I use other complicated programs like lightworks for advanced editing if I need it. Keeping it simple is key. I first go over my footage and cut everything boring out of it. I then save the semi-edited footage and when I have enough I use it to put together the actual video. Keep a library of open licence music. Keep vids short and interest or people won't watch them.
