Alok's words pierce a hole in a very large, fragile balloon from which the dominant narrative precariously floats. They have struck a gap in the armor, and will be remembered as a major historical landmark on the map of civil rights. Stunningly intelligent, but there are a lot of folks who can't hear their words because they're too caught up in the game of binaries to see what Alok is really getting at.

I wonder if Ms Solnit is aware she is doing the globalist' dirty work or if she is unaware. She could either be funded to do this by one of the globalists' or she could just have been brainwashed by one of the lower institutions to promote satanic values such as pronouns, man hating feminism, abortion, climate change scams etc.

Outstanding job! The sad part is that schools in Oxy's conference, the SCIAC are similar and worse. Redlands, with a similar student body size usually has 30 Black students. The rest of the conference is similar to Redlands and Cal Tech probably has 5-10. None have a chapter of the Divine 9 Black fraternities or sororities. At Redlands in the 1970's we had a chapter of Phi Beta Sigma, Delta Lambda which was a great help. I recall being wished "bad Luck" by other Black students before the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP football game. Looks like things have not changed. Please note, Obama left Oxy after a year!

such wonderful work so many levels from the technical side (the media, framing, the beautiful line work) -- to the context of your evolving circle of connections -- that is inspiring particularly in this time of physical distancing. the dance party takes on a whole new meaning, and so do even the prosaic comments (already now so nostalgic and loaded) about meeting for lunch, going to holiday parties, working with colleagues...we are missing so much in our lives, but perhaps gaining something more than just appreciation for what we are without...perhaps some ability to live with ourselves, and gain real personal strength to bring back to the outside world that can be harsh in "normal" times. the (mostly) single portraits are also evocative of so many people's states today, alone in their apartments -- perhaps in almost suspended animation -- but radiating energy, creativity, intelligence, fierceness and individuality. They also speak to me (outside our current reality) of the necessity for creative people to not only express outwardly that they are members of a tribe, but to self-isolate (in a way) to tap into everything their lives have brought them, to dip into their well of experience (as you have here) and create something visionary. I hope to see the work at Oxy Arts one day, and continue in person the conversation with your art that you have started with this video tour. thanks, and take care.
