I don't write a lot of that type of stuff as it's already in my study Bible commentaries. I write what God is speaking to me as I read. Then if a certain line stands out I will stencil those words/sentence in my bible.

The angle of the camera is odd, made it a bit difficult to watch.

When I think about my fear for the lord, I just know not to play with him and obey lol

there are some washi tapes that stick just as bad as scotch tape...I speak from experience LOL

Great job! And you are so right about how some “feel good” verses are taken out of context because sometimes we don’t always read the surrounding verses or the whole chapter to get the intended meaning of the verse. A few days ago I prayed that God would have my church speak about anxiety this Sunday, (that's tomorrow). Ever since then I keep clicking on videos that happen to be talking about anxiety. Thank you God.

When I run into a ‘therefore’ I know I need to go back and see what the previous chapter said.

To fix crinkled pages, get a sponge or washcloth wet and wring out. Then dampen the length of the crease. Smooth out the crinkle. Repeat if it doesn’t flatten out to your satisfaction. Close the Bible, making sure the page stays flat. Put a heavy book on top of the closed Bible. Leave for a day. It worked on my 50+ yo Bible when I recovered it.

FYI the John who wrote the book of John is not the John he is speaking of in chapter 1. The apostle John wrote the book. The John he is speaking of is John the Baptist. I know you know this but a couple of statements you made might confuse people unfamiliar with the Bible.

Coincidence? I am working on my digital Bible as I listen. I’m adding larger verse numbers to the beginning of paragraphs to make them easier to see. A challenge in Psalms because almost every sentence is a paragraph. Anyway - I am adding them to the page with Psalms 119:10-18. 🤭🤭🤭 A nice touch for an essentially boring task.

I think that nearly everyone who really jumps into Bible journaling has this problem at one time or another. I am in the process of getting vellum sheets and tracing paper to make interleaf sheets in my Bible for this reason. Also sadly I may need to start over in another Bible next year as my spine is so broken the only thing holding it together is the Bible cover. If I do that though, I get to look at my notes side by side and move over the ones that still speak to me. Instead of just everything. Growth is a good thing.
