I like those raised beds, I do the same thing with old tires off my truck. I have poppies that are about 2 inches tall right now. I have to grow them early bc they overheat in summer here in SC. Thats cool yall already have stuff in bloom. It must not freeze there much.

This looks like it could be right up my alley ( or down my life's path) I have 20 in Chesaw Washington with timber mineral and water rights that I would love to do something like this with. To live up there alone would be so hard and maybe even a little scarry...I love the idea of being around people with a common ground eager to make things work...As I write this my heart is sad to see this world being destroyed by those that just don't get the outcome of their choices. Right now they are knocking trees down like crazy.. Clearing away the under brush to build more houses ...I am an animal activist, watching the birds , rabbits , mnt lion , bear ,and all the little critters being run out of their homes..Needless to say this makes me cry..I feel a helplessness that is hard to shake..Even knowing I own 20 acres , there what they call eminent domain... I work alongside different animal resues by fostering , I am looking to be part of , or for off grid property up that way..
