    • @hammysbbq
      @hammysbbq 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@josephromeo7541 Thanks for watching. Definitely. I have a cousin who does brisket on a gas grill all the time...in my opinion charcoal would be better ...however brisket on a gas grill is definitely better than no brisket. 😀 Make sure you have enough space on the grate (measure it out) because you'll need to cook it with indirect heat. If you have a powerful enough grill you might only need to turn on only one burner and put the brisket above the other burners that are not on. I had a Weber Genesis II E-335 and I got great temperatures for both a chuck roast and a leg of lamb (both cooked indirect) with only one burner. Be sure to buy a good smoke box to put wood chips in for smoke flavor. Good luck!! Leave me a comment (after you try it) if you can to let me know how it turned out Have fun.

    Would there be less smoke if you started with half a load and added the other half? Or fifths? Smoke only happens when the fire is cooled excessively when red indians throw a wet blanket on a fire to create smoke signals. When I make biochar, I ration the feedstock appropriately. Maybe a discarded ironing board just at the tip of the chimney and you push charcoal in slowly.
