This to me was the best line up kami band had I feel so bad we won't get that line up again due to death of fujioka
Clearly Mikio was a huge Rock/Fusion fan. As exemple, part of this solo was inspired of a Brett Garsed lick in "MVP - Hey Tee Bone" (2:42)

It is just baffling and sad to me that they are no more together. The new kami band is just leagues worse than them. Without them babymetal would not be as great as it is. All thouse amazing solos and preformances gone now. What would i give to see boh and the guys live

@@cornteeth8614 Kami Band was always the name of the real backing band for Babymetal, there was a group of talented Japanese metal musicians, who were invited to replace the fake backing band (Babybones). Between 2012 and 2014 both bands still appeared, from 2014 Kami Band has become the only backing band for Babymetal. Mikio Fujioka was a leader type person among them, they had some metal projects together with these guys before Babymetal, they even had a project band called Kari Band and so. So until Mikio had passed away in the end of 2017 (he fell from an observation deck on Dec. 30). After that they kinda fell apart as a group, also because he was the soul and leader of this backing band, and he was the master of Takayoshi Ohmura. The Japanese backing band had some members, who mostly appeared in the shows between 2014 and 2018 as Mikio Fujioka (guitar), BOH (bass), Takayoshi Ohmura (solo guitar), Aoyama Hideki (drum) and sometimes Leda Cygnus (guitar) and ISAO (guitar). Kami band members were dressed in white robes and with white face paint, representing the Kami (Japanese spirits of Shinto belief). The new American guys who replaced the Japanese guys in the recent years are Anthony Barone (drum), Chris Kelly (lead guitarist), Cj Masciantonio (guitar), Clint Tustin (bass). They wear the mask, I am pretty sure, because the management had no idea, how long they will be part of the Babymetal, so they didn't want to reveal their faces to keep them more in the background until they don't get permanent place in the band if the Japanese guys won't come back. (my guess).

This guy was a true artist,a force to be reckoned with for sure,sad thing indeed when we lost this uber talented and gentle man.
Nothing really, just many fast notes - no real feel about it. Go back to the 70-90's bands, they have heart and feel - That's real music
Music and genres are changing, with this mindset I recommend you to listen to Bach or Mozart, that era was even more real music than 70's... Obviously modern metal trend is much different even compared to metal from 2000's. Apart from this, this solo part was never really meant to be musically interesting, they got this part to show off their skills, because as backing band, they barely got spotlight in other songs of Babymetal, behind the girls, who are in the front.

0:32 That sound, the way Mikio uesd the whammy bar. That's how I know as a fact, Shine from Metal Galaxy is a tribute to Mikio. Around 3:00 in the middle of the solo of Shine, You can hear it. The signature sound of Mikio bust out, then shine through. Like mikio, Kami band members are so important to BABYMETAL. They shaped the metal side of the band in early stage through these riffs and solos. I know they usually are not credited as composers. But in interviews, Mikio and Takayoshi treat these riffs and solos in the way that is written by them.
