Hi @Danilosoldano4211 - People who like to entertain but may: (a) want more room for their guests because they live in a Studio or 1BR (b) have pets that aren’t people friendly, (c) not know “the friend” their friend is bringing over and doesn’t want them in their place, (d) have a messy apartment and doesn’t want, or have time, to clean up before, (e) not want to clean up after anyone…etc.

Hi @Pajomaximus - At the time this was filmed, the cost for the personal bicycle storage is an additional $15/mth USD. This would be in addition to the apartment unit’s rent and other monthly amounts 😊.

They're slated to be ready by the end of this month/beginning of next month 😃!

Hi, @KrupaTejalMarlapudi! Thank you for your patience. As I'm sure you've moved in by now (considering you moved last month), I'll still answer your question below for anyone who sees this later (or if your relocation plans changed)... In most cases, your utilities will be separate from your rent as they run through the City of Austin (versus through your apartment complex). Unfortunately, due to Austin growing at such a rapid pace over the last few years, it may be difficult to find an apartment + utilities under $1,500/mth in one of the fastest growing areas in the city (i.e. Domain). Pricing is based on "supply and demand" and the rates change every single day. There are more properties/units being built (but not at the same speed of the need/demand). However, this price-point may be achievable (in Domain) if you're okay with renting an efficiency and have light usage of your utilities. Other solutions include looking at areas outside of the Domain or within an acceptable drive to/from the Domain.

Hi @prasadkatkade6703 - Appreciate your patience with my reply. One thing to know is that "student housing" apartments and apartments for the general public are similar but have very different processes. Since student housing is based on class/semester schedules, their availability may be 6 months to a year in advance. With the current salary provided, focus on "tax credit / income-based" properties. These are properties that work with the city to provide affordable housing options. There are some "market rate" apartments that offer a few income-based units on-site as well but those are generally taken/occupied most of the time. Also, with income-based properties/units - start looking NOW because they generally have waiting lists if they're full at the moment. In regards to the traffic...if you're moving to Austin-proper (within the Austin city limits), there's not much insight I can offer around the traffic (other than inquire with your employer about working remote some time of the week) ;D.
