That’s a good way to break your hand by hitting the opponent with the back of it, and not the side.
@@raiin2032 never heard of a backfist I see. One of the most basic strikes in old school full contact karate
@ ok no need to be a dick. The technique is wrong, just watch any fighting with “backfist strike” and see that you never use the back of your hand for several reasons, between wrist injury, flexing the hand which can cause nerves and tendinitis etc. I’ve done my fair bit of MMA in the years, both Taekwondo and Muay Thai. But hey if you don’t want to accept suggestions, feel free to keep your way of fighting.
@raiin2032 your supposed to use the first 2 knuckles just like in a punch, if I slipped and didn't do that, whoops

New to martial arts and this actually helps out quite a bit, I think the hard part is keeping your balance when making that kick without the step, and also gauging your distance when moving back. Good video!

Ive always wondered why people say that Muay Thai is the most lethal. What makes kicking with the shin better I may ask?
@@SpreadDemocracyUSA they say it's because it's the strongest bone you can kick with, they think you will injury yourself if you kick with your foot, but I haven't found this to be the case

@@Freyzed I did lose weight since I started this channel. It helped me to be consistent, I also improved my technique

Your workouts work for me just fine. I do 15-20 minutes workouts daily and also do some basic weight lifting stuff. All in all about 30 minutes daily, which is great for my schedule. I've been at it for these past two months I think. In the kitchen I eat way way less, no bread at all. The result: lost 12 kg and tighten my muscles. Cheers mate!
