เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 26 เม.ย. 2018
Hi everyone,
I am Hà Local and now live in Ho Chi Minh city, formerly known as Sai Gon before 1976. I have a consuming passion for my homeland's local life and daily activities - VIET NAM!
It is great to capture or film moments of vietnamese life and share it to the world. For those who are interested in Asian cultures, my beautiful Viet Nam must be a good one to explore.
My videos usually have 2 parts:
Part 1: Introduce Viet Nam's culture or daily activities
Part 2: Throughout my video, I want to teach English for Vietnamese students and junior tour guide who want to learn talking more( mainly new words or phrases that I use in the videos with different topic)
Hope you will support my channel and help me out if I am stuck in any new words or use English words incorrectly. In addition, I love to learn more slang or local phrase from native speakers so you will be THE BEST TO SHOW ME!
Love Viet Nam and Love to share it to the world!

Taking grab taxi in the late night from Airport to Hotel is safe ?
My first trip to Saigon and vietnam. I took the taxi from the airport. Where you make the queue. I knew the price was around 200000 dong. I was watching the meter and just before arrive to my hotel i had a look outside. When i look again the meter the price was 500000 dongs. The taxi scammer shouting at me when i asked him why it was so expensive. I was so tired by my trip that i paid him but it didn’t hapened a second time as i used grab after that. Theses taxi scamers doing this since many years but the vietnamese government do nothing. What a shame! I live 20 years in thailand and it’s never hapened to me there. There is many scammers in vietnam so be aware. Thailand is so much better in every points. Vietnam👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Fck communist Vietnam. You will end up spending more money in Vietnam over S Korea because being ripped off everywhere by VC.
Thank you for your tips!! This will be very useful for when I return to Vietnam for the first time since 1975! It seems you would be a good tour guide for Ho Chi Minh City! Cảm ơn nhiều!!
Hello .. After the covid wave gets over here, flights starts from Bangalore I will be there .. hope I may get guidance and help from you to cover your lovely country and back with memories for long time..
Never ... never take a taxi at any airports in any countries because you will get scam. Period. They are for rich people/tourists. Use trains or buses if you want to save a few bucks.
Good video thank you

Thank you. Good information. Love me some Vietnam. Looking forward to returning. Saigon the beaches of Nha Trang and Da Nang
Good advise,
Honestly this is a very helpful video. I'm planning my very first trip to Vietnam later this year and there are tons of helpful tips in this video. By the way, are you here in Hawaii? I'm just guessing my the Aloha in your TH-cam name.
We went to Vietnam during Tet 2020 to see which city to retire in. The country was beautiful, especially HCMC, Nha Trang, and Da Nang! I don't understand why so many older people were so rude and mean. Maybe because I'm white, or my wife is Thai? Or because they thought she was Vietnamese and angry she was with a white guy? No idea. I've travelled in SE Asia for 20 years and was never treated like that in other countries! Both of us were pushed by vendors, yelled at. One vendor in Ben Tanh Market yelled, "F*&%# YOU" . Anyway, we wont bother anyone there again. Makes me sad, I didn't expect that. Younger people seemed pretty nice though. Food was OK. Lots of lying and cheating but I knew how to deal with that, no problem.
I am coming to Vietnam in March for three weeks to play golf, I need a ride to golf courses but don't want to use the private limosine cars or taxis, I think they are too expensive. Any suggestions?
Very helpful, but I'm wondering: do I ask the taxi driver how much the ride will cost before I get in? Is there a set price? Or do I ask them to turn on the meter (I've see this recommended in other places)? Do many taxi drivers speak enough English to understand if I ask "how much" or "turn on the meter, please" in English? I'm trying to learn some Vietnamese, Khmer, and Thai for my trip, but finding pronunciation very difficult so not sure I will be able to learn much before I arrive. Also, should I tip taxi drivers like I would in the US? If so, how much is appropriate?
There are many taxi driver wearing white shirt at arrival hall. Do not take any of them. Just turn left and go directly to taxi stand at Pole 1. They are reliable ones and meter fee. Usually, it costs about less then 15$ to the center and you can give them few bucks as well. Tipping is more common in Viet Nam now. Cheers
What's the easiest way to get to District 5 from the airport? Is there a bus that goes there?
Thanks Ha, very good. I subscribed.
Thanks bro, Love to see you
Thanks, good clip :-)
can u be my tour guide if i come to vietnam? how can i contact u?
You can contact me as well. +84937281428 (Whatsapp ). Cheers
Thanks for this very helpful video! One question - to use Grab, do you need to use a Vietnamese phone or Vietnamese SIM card? Or can you use a phone from the U.S.?
You can use either or. As long as your US SIM provider allows you to roam within SE Asia. But to be very honest, purchasing a Vietnam SIM for $8-10 will save you the headache for once you return home and you see the roaming charges on your cell phone bill. Right now, majority of the SIMs will give you unlimted data for a month.
@@tmackly I know a guy that thought he could use his USA cell in SE Asia at regular rates... WRONG!!!!
