“I say I want to go home now Ned if you please.” How adorable. Best line in this story A baron who focuses on fashion and scents paired with a teacher and a cute little boy. Wonderful story Sofi. I loved the duel. How chivalrous.

I've just finished Penelope's book and I felt quite sad for the wicked Duke and his unrequited love. And now I get to listen to a follow up on him with Miss Hilversham. How great is that!! I'm so happy that you've decided to give him his own new adventure and happy ending. Ohhh, these boring household chorus I have on my 'to do list' are going to be so much easier again😄. Thank you!

I just cannot believe it. You brought the ex Wicked Duke and the proper Miss Hilversham together. And in a believable way. Favourites were Rosalies wedding, the mattress out the window, the Duke meeting May and chickens and the Duke tricking the men at Whites into drinking milk. I still think his view of love is more obsessive than balanced. But I guess she will straighten that out. Ella your voice for Rocheford is magnificent. Low, sardonic and slightly haughty.

That wishing well is creepy how it makes coins shine and disappear. This story was clever. I loved how although she looked clueless she always gad connections with the right people. I found myself saying out loud “oh no Sofi. Please don’t have Pen change into boy clothes at the ball.” I felt embarrassed even hearing Ella read that. Nice to see her guardian finally do something toward her happiness. Great series. Thank you. I hope we encounter these couples again.

I just love hearing Lucy and Dowager Augusta’s contributions to marriage proposals. And this was so wonderful uniting the two men again, who can help each other heal. I suspected the ‘ghost’ had something to do with smuggling although the ending of that adventure surprised me. This ongoing series is so interesting and the narration is excellent.

Best marriage proposal ever. Complete with a perfect comment from the Dowager Augusta. I wish Arabella had told Philip off for dismissing her a third time. So much rejection. And I hope we hear of more animal antics at Ashmore Hall.

This book has (unexpectedly) turned out to be my favourite book of the series! I quite fell in love with the reformed rake myself! The chemistry between the duke and miss hilversham is ‘sizzling’ and the overall banter witty / hilarious. The two mains felt so perfectly matched and right for each other! All the characters are drawn out so well. I also felt this story touched on more darker and mature themes than any of the other books in the series. But couched within a sense of good humour and light-heartedness. Thanks very much to the author and narrator for their amazing work. Both are so talented! I really enjoyed this book (as well as the rest of the series)! Looking forward to more!

So, I stumbled upon Lucy's story by accident, thought: let's give this a go and totally fell in love with the story. That was yesterday. Now I'm at chapter 29 of Arabella's story and I want to know the ending but I really don't want this book to end! I honestly didn't think I could like her story even more than Lucy's but I do. You are a very,VERY good author. New sub here. Greetings from The Netherlands 🇳🇱. Oh and PLEASE give the narrator a raise :she's fantastic!
