Adding Spacers To A Chevy (or any car really) - Tips & Tricks
มุมมอง 154 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I'm adding 1 and 1/2-in spacers to my GMT 800 new body style Chevy truck to bring the wheels flush with the fender flares. This can obviously apply to a lot of different things. I give a little description on exactly what measurements you're looking for when you place an order for spacers and what to keep in mind as well

DO NOT cut your Evaporator out of your GMT800 Chevy GMC Dash Part 2

A follow up to the original video... Just don't do it UNLESS you confirm you have the style evaporator that the other TH-cam channels mention. You will have to cut into the drip pan with this style and it is near impossible to seal it up

Rear Lowering Spring Install Tips and Tricks For B8 Audi
Mine doesn't even show power to the turtle rabbit... it does nothing... use it this morning .. then nothing in the afternoon
Great job...well done!!! Thanks for sharing.
Mine had 35 volts but when connecting to charger got blinking red and green light tried reset but it will start chsrging for 5 seconds then back to blink8ng red green light , did the jumper with oem power supply by sticking 2 cables to it one for ground another for positive ,let it charge for 15 minutes outside cuz i was scared it explode lol , then put it back to regular chaging got a blinking green light and now its charging hope it charges 100% thanks for the video
This fix also works for MVWB450WQ2, I found one sock in mine. Thanks a lot.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🏆Thank you for this! So helpful!
Hey man, i just replaced my alternator as it was bad. Now when i go to start it, it tries to crank but then just stops, as if it doesnt have enough power to crank over. But battery reads at 12.1 volts. Its a 2001 e320 4matic wagon. Do you think it could be the starter?
How much does something like this cost?
A better explanation. th-cam.com/video/cVQ9xImzorY/w-d-xo.html
Did this solve your red oil pressure warning light?
Poor engineering
So ifs been a few years…..what’s your thoughts o. This upgrade?
You know ultimately, the seat was comfortable. I recently sold the car and the new owner is going to put in some racing seats so I would imagine they don't really get the job done for spirited driving but they were not uncomfortable after redoing the bottoms
Cool good to know. Yea I don’t mind the seats either I just think my foam is shot….something is digging into my hips
Thanks for the video, the engine and transmission looks very clean...not covered in oil like mine lol
Absolutely, man. I'm very bad at responding to comments but every once in awhile! Glad I could be helpful
Epic! Great video ...LOL ...especially when you launched the fuel needle across the room. Yeah, that's my kinda luck ...'cept mine would disappear for at least 30 minutes while I scoured the floor for it. Good coverage on the redemption of spinning the needles. Overall a perfectly helpful opus. What would really help would be the links to the other YT channels you used for the "background" info. Looking forward to doing this on my '98 GMC ...and not launching the needle.
I certainly appreciate the comment! I probably should start linking the other videos that I've used. Generally speaking, I'll only really make a video if it seems like there are videos that are missing information. I like to try and do quick and dirty easy tips video like a One-Stop shop where you can kind of get an idea of everything you need to know about a job
@@jperrod1979 Lots of info out here in YT-Land on the GMT400's ...they *are* getting old. And it's typically all the finer stuff like the dash gauges and the HVAC panel/door motors that are needing the attention.
thank you. massively helpful. My problem is my blend doors dont work properly so no air comes out defrost or vent/floor. New actuators did not fix so I want to bypass all this complex blending andhave air go equally to floor and defrost. possible?
After placing a repair kit did you have to do any coding or adaptations on vcds?
Works like a charm
3:25 “just till I put myself through college” 😂
PH natural cleaner you should use. It's not real leather. Feeding and conditioning is for raw oil dyed products which now are few. A gentle ph neutral clean is all you need as the ph lets the leather breathe now
Did you find out if the new compressor was oiled? Or did you need to add some?
bluetooth battery draw lol yes had to disconnect that
It is dead to me emotionally 😂😂😂
Is this car for sale? I hope not
Also a picture is worth a thousand words before you pull the needles off originally
Can you tell me the brands i cant find parts for mine ugh 2018 awd i got a intake but want to do a full exhaust system no one makes headers for this damn car i want to give it about 30 more hp also anyone know if the k tuner is worth it on fhe 2018 tlx
Is this a 5speed or 6speed?
Ah it is 6speed, i've 5 speed. No clue if the bushing number is the same, im having a problem with puting in 1/3/4 gears have to squeeze the gear knob more to the side, in 3/4 i have to put it a little bit more to the right than i should've. Was it similiar for You?
Thanks for the info.
This is actually so dumb, do not do this!
Doing test run. Found some long lost bloomers. Hopefully this will solve it.
Good Stuff!
Im doing the opposite, b8,5 panda/prestige seats in my b8 🤣 Hope the airbag connector will be my only problem. Greetings from norway 👍🏽
i note on the gage cluster you have a abs problem ?
I have a q5 b8.5, the back up camera shows a black screen. Scan says open circuit…..could it be the same problem as yours?
Awesome! Thank you for making this video!
Too much talk - Waste of time!
i’ve been looking for this thank you !!
Sound like mine👌😉just needs to change engine mounts they gone 65000 miles and they 10 years old👌Greetings from Poland
How do you get the cover back in?
I like the idea but you show almost everything but r&r the compressor.
My 2006 A6 has a vibration above 60mph. It gets worse the faster you go. Is that what you were experiencing?
😂👍, is always a good idea to desamble the whole basket and inspect it , aswell as suspensions systems and he drive hub component, (basket balance load support), good washers overall. 👍
I know it was that conector but ypur video help alot with that tip about flexing the board i use a plástic rod
I just want to clean the side of the evaporator coil. I dont have good flow. Can i not get to it another way to clean it without replacement?
What a great video really a huge help, vw 😂🤙🏽
What a great video really a huge help, vw 😂🤙🏽
Wow that is just to dangerous.
My V70r is the same way. The rear is kind of crusty but the front is perfect. I am swapping the whole rear subframe out of my s60r parts car. Also did this solve the issue?
th-cam.com/video/Q8ZmF9qh6c0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8BLeJo9ObJcCxpy5 2:43 dobrze widać różnicę
All you have is the assembly unbolt loose for install evaparator core back together. Your video isn’t show us to install back together. I had to pull dash alittle for evaporator cover to access.
great help thanks! Mine didn't change the steering as much as I would have hoped because rag joint had already be changed by some moran. I call the guy a moran because it was probably me! Either I did it myself or didn't remember paying to have it done! So if any on else is planning to do this pull that lower cover off and check first. Biggest feel change for mine was probably the difference between a u-joint and a slightly old/worn rag joint. One thing that did look off to me when I was making sure the tires were pointing straight with the steering wheel was that my tires seemed to have toe out. So I think I need to hand check that then go to a good alignment shop. Thanks again!
However invented the rag joint needs to be slapped
