The cat got everyones tongue?
yes it's a newer impact it should be better the 850 it's just a 887 but smaller that's what 14 year old impactv
Tool nuts, we meet again.
Nice vid man. Subbed
Flex is stronger than milwauke there are plenty of vids showing it def not that much worse than rest incosistent wood try test again
When you try bigger than this and with bigger battery you will see the difference
Hitachi for the win
You should have switched batteries to male the comparison equal. Not hands. One battery is pouch cells. The other is tabless cylinder cells. Totally different technology
@@RobertLowry-f8f the result would’ve been the same. The 8ah power pack has way more watt hours then the power stack. Not exactly sure of the logic in your argument.
The boat anchor sized batteries look funny on a compact impact. But great tool.
lol I know it looks a bit ridiculous 😂 just wanted to prove how many power the 870 has. That’s why the 850 has a much bigger battery on it. Dewalt did a great job on the 870 👍🏻
You deserve a doughnut for this tough video boy 😂😂😂
Wow
You're using two different hands mamon
The 860 does not have a analog switch it has a digital switch
Yeah the other drill was set at 2 my friend
@@donaldwallace822 that’s because there’s only 2 speeds 3rd button is a 20 min work light…
Compared with Surge is this impact softer or about the same. How do you think?
@@andreizxc3 I would say the 870 is 1000x more superior than the surge in every way. I’m a big Milwaukee fan and I can say that the 870 is so much better.
Now is 209😮
Power stack put out power faster, power pack is for long term use
@@KickLongForm you’re completely wrong brother. Plenty of channels, including mine have proved otherwise.
@ just going off the description given by dewalt
@@KickLongForm & I’m going off torque test channel and plenty other channels, including my own channel’s
The hydraulic makes way less torque though so the 850 will be able to make stuff tighter and take off stuff that is tighter.
Hell I'm going to put it against all the Impact Driver's that I have but do it in a way that no one else will
@@THEBEARDEDTOOLGUY 👍🏻
Price?
@@Do_not_assume $199
Waiting on a sale for the 870 or the Wh36DD to get released here in the states.
@@kutapio hopefully they release here everyone here needs one of these. It’s super smooth to use.
Same thing
I would love to see with 5AH & longer screws! Maybe even 9AH flexvolt if you happen to have one.
The Milwaukee surge is pure trash so safe to say the dewalt is better
Yeah it is, it put me off hydraulic impacts. The new Dewalt one lookin pretty good tho
Shame to hear. Every Milwaukee tool ive had so far has been my best
@@liamailiamyah, generally think red > yellow but surge may be the worst tool in fuel line
@@brianbz95 AGREED.
@@brianbz95 agreed. I own mostly Dewalt. Milwaukee is better, but also more expensive. And my local big box hardware store only stocks Dewalt lol
And with how the Forge batteries run cooler, they are excellent for use during the summer months. But I've heard the opposite during winter. The colder, the worse they perform. Guess I'll find out soon enough with the 8ah Forge I just got.
Alright so you have the 850 which is the old model. Go grab that 860 (new model) and do this idc what battery you put on the 860 it’ll dust that 870. One test and you’ll pass that 870 off to a buddy to keep.
@@WDub963 I have the 860 and I know it would win. Nobody said it would loose? The 860 is a monster. The 870 is just nice to use cause it’s not so loud and it’s easy to control. But yes I agree the 860 would win against 870 all day everyday.
@Well that’s one way to reply. Glad we agree didn’t say anyone said it would lose just didn’t understand testing an older model against a brand new model even more confusing now that you say you have the new model.
@@WDub963 I tested the 850 because I’m pretty sure it’s the 870’s predecessor. In some demonstration videos from Dewalt they were putting the 850 against the 870 so I figured I’d test it out myself just to see the results. Some demonstrations are bs i just wanted to confirm.
860 vs 870 not even in the same class lol
@ is there a point here?
Battery size isnt the only thing that matters. You’re using 2 different types of batteries, Lithium Ion and Lithium Polymer. For a fair test take 2 identical batteries and swap them after 1 run. Not saying the newer model isn’t better, just that this test is not as fair and straightforward as you make it to be.
@@wippip I guarantee the result will be exactly the same lol. 1000% guarantee. The 8 ah power pack has almost double the wh the power stack has. I think you’re thinking too far into to this one, respectfully.
Your right bros digging too deep @@KjWilliams_
@KjWilliams_ well if you guarantee it I'm sold. Where did you go to school?
He already did this test with the same batteries (the870 won). He's just experimenting here.
I don’t get ur argument. He is purposefully giving the 850 an advantage to show how powerful the 870 is in comparison. The 8ah tabless power pack battery is a better battery then the 5ah power stack battery.
A cuanto tiene el refri
I took advantage of it!
@@Kaleb_RoSs nice! Will be looking out for the review! 🔥
DeWalt shook a lil bit Hikoki impacted better
The whole point is the noise! Is the dewalt quieter than the makita.
@@robabbott381 I’ve done a video on the difference in noise. And If you’re talking about the makita soft impact I would say makita is just a little quieter. But Dewalt has more torque. As it should since the makita has already been out for a little while now. If makita makes a 2nd gen it would be a more fair comparison.
@@KjWilliams_ the other thing is that I’m a dewalt guy for all my tools but I bought makita only because dewalt didn’t have a soft impact. The batteries are huge and annoying and the charger takes up too much room in my kit. Having to carry two chargers is stupidity. Dewalt should have come out with this sooner Think I’ll be retiring the makita. Now Dewalt needs to up their 18 gage pinner before I buy a Milwaukee
@@robabbott381 I couldn’t agree more those batteries are annoying. If you decide to retire the makita you won’t be disappointed with the Dewalt! And Milwaukee nailers are definitely above the rest that’s for sure. Flex just came out with some really nice nailers that I’m thinking about getting.
@@KjWilliams_they did come out. Xdt19z has more torque than 16.
@@KjWilliams_they do have the 2.0 and 3.0 that’s more compact to use on impact driver. Dean Doherty also has proven that red is built like shit internally.
Idid check out 860 today and its bit heavy. I want 870 ordering thru lowes today hope so after i pay my bills 😂😂😂😂😅😅
@@TimMalik-p2b 😂😂 I can tell you this. They’re both great tools! Can’t go wrong with either one.
I'm from Indonesia. I want to ask you sir. What the difference torque between dcf 860 and dcf 870. Please answer it. Thank you
The 860 has a lot more torque compared to the 870. I will say the 870 is a lot nicer to use. Not nearly as loud and a lot less vibration. If you want power go with 860 if you want comfort you can’t go wrong with the 870.
@@KjWilliams_ nice , thank you sir for your answer
Can you tell me exact weight of each one in grams. Please
@@TimMalik-p2b don’t have a scale but I did a little bit of research just don’t quote me on the number but I would say the 870 is about 1133 grams and 860 is about 1164 grams. Like I said tho the numbers may not be exact.
Wow
Where/year is that Hikoki from? I just bought an 18v pkg of them and they look quite different. Yes I see that you have the 36v. Haven't seen it before is all.

Is the 870 the same length in the head as the 850??
@@parkerk7018 870 is actually a hair shorter! Not by much but definitely shorter.
@@KjWilliams_ thanks!! That’s great! Looks just like the atomic 850 but a lot quieter? I love the new led lights they look so much brighter
@@parkerk7018 WAY quieter. I hope you grab yourself one! It’s a phenomenal tool. Dewalt hit a home run with the new LED’s. More than enough light to light up a work space.
If the battery is bigger than the drill we gotta start questioning stuff
@@koDaffi it’s just that show how much power the units can put out. No one said that’s the proper battery for the tools.
