I absolutely agree and I believe this is because of the single axis gimbal. It just can't produce the same smoothness as a three axis gimbal unless the conditions are perfect. You can definitely tell in this video during the Neo clips how much the wind affects the drone. Nonetheless, I still enjoy the Neo a lot. Thanks for the comment!

It really depends on what your intended uses are for the drone, but overall I would recommend the Mini 3.

The mini 3 is a great drone and It’s one of my favorites I’ve ever flown. However, it doesn’t have good compatibility with 3rd party apps for gps controlled flight used for 2D and 3D mapping. In my opinion, if you want to make money, mapping has to be part of what you can do. That is the whole reason I bought the Mavic Air 2 was to for mapping. It was a good option for getting started with mapping ( ~ $500). Good luck and let me know if you have any more thoughts !

That is a great question. I would personally go with the mini 3 because it has a better camera from my experience and is easier to transport and use. The mini 3 also has better battery life. That being said, the Mavic Air 2 would still be a great choice. Good luck!

I believe the rule you're referring to is that you're not supposed to fly near/over crowds. Safely flying in the vicinity of some people is ok.

Haha, that's a funny comparison. I think it is annoying, but its not unbearable. I have heard that it is quieter if you remove the prop guards. I agree, I still love this drone. Thanks for the comment! Let me know if there are Neo videos you'd like to see my make.

@@CM_UAV Also agreed. I am used to it now. Also, I think it helps keep the birds at bay and I can find it in the sky easier by the sound and also when it is following me I know that it still is following me and not just lost, so yes the sound actually has advantages.

I disagree

If you shoot a video in 480p resolution, it’ll look blurry and lack detail compared to 1080p or 4K, no matter how good the lighting is. Similarly, a low FPS like 15 will make motion look jittery, while 60 FPS will make fast action smooth and clear. So yeah, resolution and FPS definitely affect how good your video looks.

@@CM_UAV Fair enough, but perfection doesn't exist, there's always a fault to find with anything, but I think DJI have knocked it out the park with this little thing. It's price is amazing for what you get, especially for those like me who have the Mini 4Pro & the Avata 2. I can fly it without a control, I can use my phone, I can use the RCN3 that came with it or the the RC2 from the M4P. I can strap the goggles on from the Avata2 and use it in full FPV mode with the FPVRC3, or just tootle about with Motion controller. The best bit? If I cock up and lose it, it's only 170 quid for a new one. It's actually a testament to how good this thing is that the only bad thing you can find is the noise level :)

@@jasondudgeon9510 I’ve a quick question if you have a 2nd, I’ve a spare half hr at work so thought I’d take it out the box and just go through the activation side of things, but it joins my local network but then just says check network when I try to activate it, and I can’t get around it. Do you join what I’m doing wrong, or should I just set it up at home 😂

@@MiddysGoWild Sorry for the late reply, but I'm guessing your work network has restrictions on its DNS server and only allows traffic to certain IP's. If I was in your situation, I'd have turned off the wifi on my phone so that it's not using the work network, and used the network provided by my phone instead, your phone network provider shouldn't have any such restrictions.

Don't confuse 5G ( fifth generation) phone network with 5.8Ghz (802.11 ac) WiFi. They are complete different things. Apart from the cheapest all phones should have 802.11 ac these days. See if it is in the list of saved networks and delete it. Sometimes the home router kinda overrules the drone. Disconnect and click 'forget network' (if you know the password of the home network) Or go outside. If you have an iPhone check security settings. Lastly you can reset all WiFi on your phone settings, about, reset option.

@@scottmitchell8845 thanks for the comment ! The footage is stored directly on the Neo a- it has 22 GB of internal storage. You can get 15-18 minutes per battery of flight time.

It is possible if you are near the ground or above an obstacle. The mini 3 has a downwards optical sensor that needs light to work, so it is possible that low light causes the sensor to struggle. However, I have never experienced this and haven't heard many cases of this. Good luck!
