Whats the point of an emu? Theyre not big enough to ride, not much is scared of them,, theyre basically defenseless, they have very little meat on them, they stink, usually mean to people and all other animals.. at least the ostrich can defend itself and is smarter plus theyre bigger and stuff., the emu is like an ostrich with a turkey mixed together..

I watch the video and laugh at the funny birds. I look down and it says, "9 years ago." "Wow," I say, "Hey Google, how long does an Emu live." - Not looking forward to the answer. Theres one pet one here in Australia and he's 60 ,(he's on 60 minutes Australia) they can live 50 years . I had 2 and they are very tough creatures . They are like big reptiles with feathers . They can take the heat and the snow and are extremely resilient .

WTF ! A GUN !! Bears have the right to be, also. They were there before your asses were. Have some compassion. There are things you can do to scare them away instead of KILLING them. Jesus christ. Go out with a siren instead of a gun, creepy assholes.

Why would a human be hurting alpacas with a rifle? That makes no sense at all. Obviously, the rifle is for the bear. It appears to be a black bear which is not hard to scare off and is usually unaggressive.
Always scare them off first as we have horses too. But if a continues threat we shoot to kill but nothing goes to waste and eat the meat.

I'm glad to see that person with his rifle to help guard his flock. Especially the white alpaca who stood it's ground. I've always wanted a small flock of alpacas farm but never got around to do it. It frightens me that these animals need our help in defending themselves. No dogs? Certain breed of dogs are trained to ward off intruders and alert the owner(s).
