@@JVGmidi to my understanding this determines the traction level. Because these cars are all wheel, drive, the thicker, the differential oil the slower that differential will begin to spin in relation to the others that may have a lighter weight. So if your rear end has a lighter weight, the torque and wheel rotation will begin in the rear and slowly work its way to the front.

@@Ready2RaceRC-s2z when you put thin oil in the centerdiff the front tyres turn much to fast, the car is mostly accalerating on the back wheels to thin oil means less powe or the back and the front is going much to fast and doing nothing.

@@tukibird I did. The team driver suggested either 10-10-10 or 10-10-7. I went with 10-10-10 (front-center-rear) and thanks!

@@speedgears1236 I agree as I’ve heard this more commonly. The racer who recommended this was a team Losi driver so I figured give it a shot. He did say 10-10-10 or 10-10-7.

Just guys enjoying their hobby to the fullest and trying to race the best they can. Not sure how to interpret this comment.

I mean half the fun of the hobby are the hop ups, right? I love to tinker with my cars, so I totally get it.

For a track this small and low grip all of those upgrades are very necessary to keep weight down especially in the 21.5 wheeler class. They are just having fun.

You are kinda right @saga420nbk we aren’t pros and some of these parts aren’t needed. But we do race with sponsored drivers all the time and they run most of the same parts we do. Just curious, where’s your local track? Do you go to any of the bigger races like JConcepts Indoor National Series races?

@@Ready2RaceRC-s2z surprisingly balds do not work well at all on this track we usually run elipses or bar codes.

@@saga420nbk Yeah wood boards, best way I could describe it would be almost a wooden cork board type material. They place ramps and objects underneath to create the elevated turns and jumps. It’s a lot more fun than I expected and the traction on them is a tricky variable. Starts great after saucing tires but within a 6 minute main you lose quite a bit.

@@fuzzfreak1967 I know this is a very unique place. This is considered their “off-road” and it’s kind of a wood type material. Almost like sheets of cork board type wood. He puts ramps and other items underneath to create the elevated corners and jumps. Really fun honestly.

I set mine to -30 personally, but it's driver specific. I've even seen people go in the opposite direction. But for me, negative expo increases my lap times a lot. There are also expo settings for the throttle that can help with traction I haven't tried the throttle expo yet. But steering expo helped me big time.

@@MX-CO So I messed with the throttle expo but not the steering. I need to do more research because although it helped my fishtailing I found myself much less reliable over Juno’s due to the slower roll of the throttle. I think your right though, the right expo settings may really help out. Thanks for the inspiration to research further.

What really helped me was steering expo, I haven't tried throttle expo yet personally, but I did see some good videos about expo on TH-cam. Using Steering expo made a night and day difference for me
