@@marklulay my next project is to paint my 2005 Lexus IS300. The stock color is a light blue metallic. I am going to likely send it to the paint shop next week. I am just going to add the Altezza Front Lip Spoiler, Coilovers and camber kit and throw on some 17X9 Gram Lights, I havent decided a color yet.
@@JohnPaulCamposHohnerAnacleto sounds like it’s going to be a sweet IS300. I had about 150 hours of restoration time in this Spectra Blue IS. Bought it for $1000 and sold it for $7,500. You should paint yours white. I always loved seeing a white 1st gen IS300 when they first came out.
@@marklulay 😳 . The 1st gen IS300's like you said, they are very desired cars. You know, white color did cross my mind to tbh, it another added expense of $700 more approximately to the paint job. I will let you know what I decide

@@Tone_Of_Dials those aren’t LED, those are the factory AFS Xenon HID Auto Leveling headlights only available on the Premium models.

How you do 30 miles per gallon what service you did to it mines only do like 13.8 in city
That’s mixed highway and city. Pure highway I get 34mpg. Pure city 22mpg. All recommended maintenance.
I have a 03v6 EX-L, with 80 thousand miles, I'm absolutely in love with this car, had her for about a year, and I appreciate her as if I just got here yesterday lol😅

Just bought a 2007 Lexus ES 350 at 174000 miles and figured out it wasn't maintained properly. Currently has check VSC with engine light and traction control light on, all the 6 cylinders are misfiring with probable ignition coil issue and engine vibrates intermittently when in low speen and parking mode. Changed oil filter and oil, and tires as soon as I got the car. With the help of my best friend, will try to do as DIY as possible since I don't wanna pay hefty prices in dealership servicing or any nearby auto repair shops. Kinda worried about how long will this car hold with the exchange of how much money!
@@petergomes9385 sounds like it just needs a little maintenance. Probably a couple coils, new spark plugs, and maybe an O2 sensor. Good luck with the car. Run the codes and start there. Good luck and thanks for the comment.
I have the exact car and the exact lights came on in mine. It was the o2 sensor. Hope this helps.

I've recently bought a 03/04 XLE 3L V6 with 103.000km on the hodometer. had to put new tires, rear brake pads, change the oil, and the pair of knock sensors that were failing and switching off the overdrive (it was the only symptom). where I live they came straight from Japan. it drives like new and now I know it will last for another trouble free 20 years 😆
Congrats on your Camry purchase! They are really great cars. 2002-2006 Camrys are probably the best used cars available.

I adore well-maintained older Lexuses, yours looks absolutley spectacular! I have a 2006 ES330 finished in the same color, Blue Onyx Pearl and it really pops in the sun.
