Jade's Fitness Bucket List
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 19 มิ.ย. 2016
Hey! I love all things movement and wanted to create a space to try lots of different physical challenges and see how it goes … ❤️
I want to show how good it feels to smash your goals whether that be in fitness or anything else in your life and that with enough hard work anything is possible. If at first you don’t succeed…pick yourself up and try again *song plays in background*

Yeh, my boss does that with his wife.
@@Martyr217 yeh it’s fun! But expensive!
You look like a cod player, all sweaty and icky.
@@jaffamaalin I don’t play cod and yeh sweaty but I hope not icky!
I used to have sore knees but started doing squats and now I'm fine plus I can touch my toes and bend way easier too. I have no idea why I thought squats would help but it did. XD
@@Martyr217 glad to hear! Keep at it 💪
you look very sexy with the black bike shorts
Good job. You could do even better by pacing yourself instead of going all-out from the start. Making short series of 3 reps with 10-15 seconds rest between them would easily bring you 10 more.
@@сырпошехонский I’ll try that next time!
Don't forget to add the weight of the pullup belt with the chain, about a pound.
@@BR-lx7py this is true! I did on the PR, I said it was 19 but it was a 15,2.5,1.25 plate which is 18.75kg which I rounded up to 19 cos of the belt 💥
This just popped up in my feed. Wish you the best. You have a lot of good strategies. Just remember the SAID principle and that you need to train over 90% of your power to increase it. One suggestion to try once you're up to it - if you're kipping to get above the bar, try to lock into position at the moment when you hit top momentum, and control the eccentric down. You're 10% stronger on the eccentric than the concentric (so cheating to get up isn't the end of the world) and eccentric contractions are more growth promoting than either concentric or isometric contractions.
@@BradleyRaven thank you… I think I’m already doing that no? So negatives are eccentrics which I control. I began kipping slightly with my legs at the beginning but I end the video showing I do less of that now and I’m def training over 90% of my power with these moves. If there’s anything else I didn’t include in the video let me know
Great vibe! I'm also currently tackling muscle ups, let's do it 💪💪
@@simoneromeo5998 thank you! I’m injured atm but will get back on it as soon as I’ve healed! Good luck with yours!
But it's dark chocolate and dark chocolate is good for you. XD lol
@@Martyr217 not the quantities that I eat! 😂
It is so impressive to see you work really hard to achieve a complete muscle up! The progression is probably one of the most exciting things in the process of reaching an athletic goal!! The muscle up has been something I've been working on for a while now! You excited me so much to wanting to work all the way up to that progress. I'll also try negative muscle ups and weighted pull-ups to see how things go from here for me. Instantly Subbed!!
@@MpouziotasD_Projects wow thanks so much! 🫶🏼 unfortunately I’ve got tennis elbow from repetitive strain so I’m going to have to take 3 months or so off but I’m hoping I can come back stronger than ever for 2025 and get my muscle up at the end of next year. Good luck with your muscle up progress too!
this is a good video :) keep it up!
@@brandonfernandez8880 thank you! I’m injured now but as soon as I’m ok I’ll get back to training!
@@JadesFitnessBucketList Did that happen due to the muscle-up training? It would be good to know its injury potential, once I get around to start working on those muscle ups 😁
@ it certainly didn’t help but I’d say no. What happened is it’s an overuse injury and as you get stronger quicker and increase your training load the muscles get tight. The tighter they get the more the tendons attached have to stretch and eventually this can overstretch them like a cheesestringband cause it to become inflamed and get a tendonitis. I have it in my elbows. A way to prevent this is fortifying your forearms with exercises you can find online for tennis elbow ( I’m currently making a video for my rehab now out una. Few months) and getting regular sports massages ( which I didn’t), to lengthen the tightened muscles maybe 1 a month or 2 months. Also there can be genetic factors at play. But yeh regular sports massages and doing the boring physio work to strengthen surrounding tendons
another great video.
@@adamtakacs5197 thank you so much!
your "work-ethic" for your fitness goals brings me so much motivation and has literally improved my personal life!
@@lostieaddict wow what a lovely comment! Thank you so much ♥️🫶🏼
I find it slightly difficult to figure out the chronological order of your videos and shorts but anyway good job with the marathon and I confess to be a bit envious (I'm more of a disorganised wobbler!) of your dancing prowess (but you really do need a red pair of Asics that adopts more of an authentic feel! 😀) I take it the injury is still problematic? Are you doing any light exercises with it? Has it ruled out the 20 by Xmas? if so my continued sympathies. All the best.
@@oaknash2038 hey ah yeh I always post in retrospect so right now should be month 4 for example of muscle up progress but I had the stop at this video because of the injury. I’m going away until Jan and while I’m away will be doing rehab exercises so hoping when I’m back to routine end of Jan I will be healed and restart my journey. Unfortunately I will also have lost strength from not training for months but will never give up and keep trying. Yeh 20kg will be for 2025 where by December 2025 I shall hope to get 25kg pull-up! A full unassisted muscles up will be a bonus end of next year! But I’ll do a month 3 when I’m healed and start training muscle up again 🙏
@@JadesFitnessBucketList You'll soon regain any strength lost, be prepared to be surprised. I was! Be gentle with yourself when you start again, but I sense you are wise enough to know this. If you are going somewhere hot and sunny… I'm jealous! Enjoy…
i wanna try this because im working on my backwalkover on beam and my shoulders need more mobility and strength for it
@@lostieaddict oh that’s amazing! Yeh try it! It’s great for abs too the longer you can keep your bum on the wall as you lower the legs the stronger your abs!
You got skillz, love the song choice 🔥💪🏻
@@ValentinG23 thanks!
Did you have one "spark" or "aha moment" that started you on the path towards being healthier? Or did you have lots of smaller experiences that slowly steered you on this path? It's very interesting to see what causes people to change directions towards improving their lives. Anyway, congratulations and you look great!
@@markmcla thank you! No it was a twisty and windy road. I’d say my motivation changed every few years. The first motivation was getting skinny, I was overweight and as a teen gave girl growing up in the 00s, I just wanted to be like the other girls. Then the motivation was running, and I remember as a tennager I’d go to the track. Then it was to be healthy as id grown up with a very sick parent through not fault of their own and I wanted to make the most of having a fit able body and finally now d day it’s to acquire new Calisthenics skills and be as strong as I can!
@@JadesFitnessBucketList Thanks for sharing! Yes, that makes sense. I hate to admit it, but sometimes relentless nagging actually gets me to change my ways 🙂

You’re getting more flexible! Nice!
@@FitnessAndLongevityWithHan hah thanks! I’m trying to do it More as currently have elbow tendonitis so can’t practise my muscle up progressions for a few months :(. Had to find something else to work on! Hope you’re all good, got as ever! 🙌
@ sorry to hear about the injury.. I’ve had elbow tendinitis at least three times the last two from playing golf. Never again after I figured it out. I learned that using a wrist grip strengthener helps prevent future injuries. As we strengthen bigger muscles like triceps, shoulder and biceps.. wrist and elbow joints need to be trained and reinforced to compensate for the greater upper body strength. Add wrist grip strengthener, and wrist curls and you’ll be bulletproof moving forward.. all the best! 💪🏼
@ hey Han thank you, yes it’s absolutely horrible and really upsetting for me as I was getting so much stronger. This whole month I’ve been rehabbing it with wrist strengthening exercises but it hasn’t got any better. It’s worst when I do slow negative muscle ups and hurts doing pull-ups too. Dips seem a little more tolerable. I also use bands and pull away from the body rolling me wrists sideways on the flat surface and I’ve googled every elbow tendonitis(/tennis elbow) exercise but nothing seems to make it better. Maybe time? It’s not a sharp pain just a dull ache that gets worse doing Calisthenics and sometimes extends up my tricep and shoulder. Wish I could get rid of it 🙏🙏
@@JadesFitnessBucketList I posted a video on my channel for you 🙂 I can totally relate to elbow tendinitis and unfortunately it’s a 6-12 month journey to rehab. Strategy and execution needs to be intentional and focused. It’s frustrating because you have to stop doing the things you love.. I’ve been there. It sucks. The one thing I didn’t mention in my video is to ice it daily! I use a wrap that can soak water like a sponge. You stick it in the freezer and then wrap up your elbow. I swear by it. I used it 3 to 5 times daily. Took me almost a full year to get 100%. Now my elbows are bulletproof using the protocol in my video. All the best and I hope you have a swift recovery!
@ hey just watched! That’s an excellent video, was doing a few of those things but will def by a grip trainer and do pronated bicep curls now too! Interesting you say about the ice. Recently there are studies showing heat of more effective than ice with tendon and ligament inflammations. Wow 6-12 months is so long, I feel in that time all my strength I’ve gained is going to go. It’s been 1 month and I’m honestly so depressed I can’t focus on my goals of muscle up :(
If you've clicked on this video, it's likely you cba to read this too lol. ^ Read it! :P

@@markmcla oh so it was the same in the states too! And thank you I’m trying now as an adult 🙏
@@JadesFitnessBucketList Yes, it was the same in the USA too! (At least in California 🙂) I think I enjoy hiking so much because the fresh air brings out that same feeling of being free, like recess for adults.
