Wonderful sharing 😮
That's a 5 ton.
Weird that they let him collect his winnings before he attempted the real pull. Why’d the other vehicles struggle so hard to move this thing?
What a lot of folks don't understand is that the military trucks based on the M44 chassis was not designed to be a "powerhouse", rather it was designed to carry a rated load efficiently over adverse terrain.
Ank MK38 it is U ???
Nice food trays lmao
It's truly insane how much torque those trucks produce with that little horsepower
That's the whole point and benefit of having an inline sixed engine. Specifically designed for lower RPM and higher outcome of torque. It's not just all about the torque either,it's also about gearing ratio.
Next up: Hemmt 10x10 and then an M1A1. 😂
My M88 would have pulled those together without ANY hesitation
yea i think he won XD
....and video EXACTLY like this make me want to spend an insane amount of money on something i really dont need parked in my backyard next to my boat and hot tub and ram and mustang that is already there haha
This car numberone.
I drove this beautiful machine for 8 years. That thing is impossible to get stuck in. Like, you deliberately have to get it stuck in something and even then, it's not stuck for long.
Would love a 5 ton
According too the distortion of that camera that truck was starting to time warp at the end.
Best full pull I've seen in a while except the Dodge General Lee.
It's all about the torque and geared down horse power 💪🇺🇲
To race go to 2:40s
Isnt that a 5 ton?
Late reply, but yes. All M900 series trucks are five ton trucks. Including the previous M800 series and M39 series. The first variables of the M900 series including the A1's were from AM General. The only difference was G177/42 (with rear duals) tires versus the 1400×20/48 Super Singles. The A2's came from BMY Division of Harsco and have Cummins 6CT's instead of Cummins NHC-250's which were also used in the M800 series. Lastly, the A2's still used the Super Singles but with built in CTIS (Command Tire Inflation System). The only way to tell between the A1's & A2's was to look at the front tires for the wheel guards within the rims. The wheel guards for the A2's are for protection and seperation of the airing valves for the CTIS system.
Seems to me that hitching to a point at or above the rear axles is going to lift the front end resulting in a loss of traction which was seen here. Yes it was a full pull, but if more sled weight is added it could well be a different outcome.
it reduced traction on the steering axle, but increased traction on the drive axles
@@jimsmith9819 Keep in mind that the front axle is driven as well and if the rears started to spin the front can then help pull.
It probably would have pulled easier, if he did get on the highway.🤣
"Let's see what happens" is my philosophy on life.
ha ha ha...that was awesome!
Fun fact, that's also the top speed of duece and a half!
Are you sure about that? I've done alot faster when I still had my own deuce and a halfs and have done the same in my five ton trucks!
Love mine. 3 color camo green, with winch (M925a2), and rooftop gun turret ring. Unstoppable.
Don't have enough weight to stop it
It does
@@joonasrautio9909 It does not, they only stopped because there was probably a fence in front of him that we can't see.
Knew before he started how far he would go... run out of track.. make a great firewood truck but not enough room by over filling to slow it
Go on hiway😂😂
OMG!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!
Used to have a video where they hooked an Abrams tank up to one of those sleds. It pulled it as far as they had room for. The tank won.

@@TronRider he's goin' home with it LMAO
That is TORQUE and TRACTION 💪
Did we expect anything less¿ Go Army!!
Just a stroll in the park for what he was built for.
lol hoping to get a crx soon fuck these 12 year old comments lol i wanna do this
I have owned two of these, just used for parades, great trucks. Something that helps here is that the truck weighs 11 tons empty, gives you traction.
Want.
100ft. About right for 5.4 Excursion
Between this and the M88, I smile like a little boy seeing these in action, cant wait to finish H8.
I was H8 qualified also on the M816, M936 and the M984
I would love to do that with my HEMTT wrecker when I get it running, yes I own one the M984E1
Sweeeet....I have an MK wrecker!
May I ask where you obtained it
I got it from a guy in Michigan he got it surplus from Louisiana
How much sounds like a fun toy
Probably paid to much but the guy I got it from said never has seen it come up surplus, I paid 30 k
This is pure genius. I never even would have thought about a camera in a crab trap. Awesome video !
I thought that there wouldn't be much light at the bottom, I was wrong. I need to do it again.
Thank you so much for sharing MADE IN U.S.A ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Rip crx
Le matériel américain est très fort
Wonder what the 7 ton would do. 🤔
Much more than that five ton truck would ever do...That's from experience. MTVR's having the C12's are 425 HP/1,650 TQ while the 6CT's in the M923A2's were only 240 HP/602 TQ or around there, then the NHC-250's in the A1's and older had 250 HP/658 TQ. Seven ton trucks over the five ton trucks were assembled to be 30% better than trucks before them on reliability, durability, longevity, environments, capacity, capabilities etc you name it.
2020 bought me here
Finally someone aired down first.
Might as well put his signal on and hopped on the freeway
Leading cause of death where I'm from is you just out for a RIP are ya bud?

This one has the ACERT C15 Caterpillar.

@@Darth-Nihilus1 Can't do that delete and tune shit on military trucks buddy.Everything is tracked.
@@Slim_Slid you wanna bet, I turned my m88a1 up and tuned a fmtv with the c7 cat. Before I departed from that unit took the tune off
@@Slim_Slid if you have cool section leaders you can do a bit within reason, just for the hell of it they let me order the deep water kit for my 88 oh boy them turbos sound way more aggressive with 4ft stacks
