A rideshare channel dedicated to providing Uber rideshare videos for both new and experienced Uber (Lyft) drivers. Although the channel is focused on Uber, the videos can be very helpful for Lyft drivers as well. By watching the videos, reading comments about others experiences, and sharing ideas, I hope to teach rideshare drivers how to better understand what ridesharing is, how it works, how to make the most money, and avoid mistakes often made by beginner and intermediate drivers. If your still thinking about taking up ridershare driving, these videos should assist you in making a more informed decision.
I hope all of you that watch my videos will participate by liking, subscribing, and commenting with experiences (good or bad) that may help our fellow drivers and those still wondering if it's something they want to try.

Uber Driver Road Rage Incident, Getting the Finger
Another driver and his passenger harass me by not allowing me to pass. They get in front of me and then don't let me pass, flipping me off in the process. I dupe them into getting out of my way and avoid escalating the incident.

Uber support is in Philipines. They are very polite and nice but sometimes not helpful and it takes a long time.
Only video I can find with this issue but the real issue or fix needed is to be to able "move" the pick up location for the rider!!! Or they should be able change it! Which they can't. I tried to help them!!! Also, most times the "rider" meaning customer can't change it either... this happened two times last night!!! On of them, "green dot pick up location was inthe water" but I could find the rider and go... get them and the other time the "green dot pick up location was also in the water" and no one showed up... any where on the app or near it and I had to cancel... 😢 this is not cool and a huge wastes of time to miss other potential rides! Thanks for the video!!
Great video, thx
You bet
All that time work and gas for a $2 order’🤣
Yes, definitely not worth the fare. Keep in mind this video is simply to show how it works. Not what jobs you should accept or deny. I find most deliveries are not worth the time and effort. That's another video for another time. In some markets, people may tip better than they do in my area, so I don't want to discourage the general watcher of the video from trying Uber eats/deliveries.
Thanks I’m waiting for my first ride soon, great channel
It’s the worst supper ever. Full of incompetent ppl in India, Philippines, etc… that are not trynna help at all
Thank you 👍👍👍👍for helping us
It's my pleasure
Thank you, Firecracker Driver!for this video. I get sensitive about a few of the negative feedbacks i've gotten. So far i've gotten three, And I keep telling myself don't get myself all twisted up over it. I have a tiny ukrainian flag in my car, and I think one of my riders was a russian girl who just randomly gave me a bad review.
I agree with you, Firechick! You greeted hi, and then he gave you attitude. He's the one that had a bad day!
Thank you Erin😊
You are so welcome!
Thank you
thank you very much
I had this issue today and I simply left. I would never pick a person with multiple rides!! Once before it happened to me and the rider added 8 stops! How insane people can be!!! Hate people with stop rides!!!
He hired you to take him to the destination. How you get there is up to you.
I dunno, doesn't seem like a good reason to cancel the ride altogether but at the same time, I can guarantee you he probably would've left a bad review if she had completed the ride and like, she didn't actually do anything wrong in terms of her driving. Kinda seemed like he was looking for a fight.
Thank you. I appreciate your honest assessment.
Like my wife just said, people in Oklahoma aren't sued to taxi cabs or share rides. Most of us have been driving our own cars since we were 15 1/2 years old. I'm sure you'll have some interesting interactions, I'm looking forward to hearing/seeing your stories. Having the camera in the car will be a HUGE help to you too.
oh and if you don't have a concealed carry license and carry a firearm, I'd consider it. In Oklahoma we also have Constitutional carry too.
Yes, done and done.
@@TheFirechick201 fantastic to hear! Stay safe out there and if you’re ever in the Edmond, OK area working, maybe me or my wife may get to meet you one day.
You're the driver and can take whatever route you deem appropriate. I would have politely told him to mind his own business and if he persists, tell him to STFU. I 100% think you did the right thing dropping him back off.
lol, thank you!
She was in the right .Just reimbursed him on his fare .you had GPS in your vehicle so he shouldn’t have said anything,it was obvious that he came into your vehicle in a bad mood and seemed disturbed which can be dangerous,tk god he didn’t act on his agression
Never ever would I drive perfect strangers around in my car.....I don't care how much money they paid. He was rude. No call for that. If he didn't feel like talking he should have kept his mouth shut. Dont care what kind of day he had, not your fault. You spoke kindly to him. You acknowledged him. You did your job. You were exactly right in your decision to end his ride. Good job
Thank you. I appreciate the kind response.
Hope you didn't get paid
I did. Sorry to disappoint.
Awww did your fefes get hurt?
Good for you! Stand your ground.
Thank you, I will
As an Uber/Lyft driver for over seven years and having given over 12,000 rides (4.97 driver rating with Uber and 5.0 driver rating with Lyft), I can tell you that some riders are not worth the trouble. And, yes, I have had riders like this one in the video that seemed to have a bad attitude. But, I have also had riders who suggested alternate routes that they would prefer and I was happy to oblige. My position on the matter is that I am being paid for my mileage and driving time - so, I don't generally have a preference about the route taken to get the rider to their destination. Their suggested route may be longer or shorter than the route given by the navigation app. So, I will either make a little more or a little less money by taking the rider's preferred route. In this situation, my response would have been to pull over to the side of the road, turn my hazard lights on, and say, "I'm just following the app and it suggested this route because of the orientation of my vehicle. I was heading east when you got in the car, so the app gave me a route that took that into consideration. But, if you would prefer, I can turn around and go a different way. Would you like me to do that?" Depending on his demeanor in his response, I would either turn around and follow his directions to his destination or return him to the pickup point and cancel the ride, as you did. The only reason I might not do this is for safety or legal reasons (like not being able to make a legal U turn, etc.). If he gave me any more grief, I would drop him off in a well lit area with other people around and just cancel, citing rider behavior, as you did. But, as a disinterested third party witnessing the exchange between the two of you, I must say that your interaction with the rider radiated that you were not in a good mood yourself. This likely contributed to the negative outcome of the ride. My suggestion to you would be to not do rideshare driving when you are not feeling well or not in the right frame of mind to be dealing with random strangers getting in and out of your vehicle. I can tell you that, when riders get under my skin, I stop ride requests and take a break or go home. It is when you are stressed out or feeling unwell that you are most likely to have an unpleasant experience with riders or have an accident. Finally, rideshare driving is not for everyone. If you find yourself having a disproportionate number of bad rider experiences or are getting low driver ratings from riders, you need to review the recordings of your rides and see if you can identify your part in the bad experiences and either make changes to how you interact with riders or ask yourself, "Is rideshare driving really for me?"
This is a terrible offer. No one should accept this for $10.63. This should pay AT LEAST $15
Under no circumstances should you drive over 14 miles to pick up anyone.
That may be true. Keep in mind, this video is in no way a suggestion on what rides to accept or deny, just how the system works. Also, every market is going to be a little different. What you can expect in one area may be a far cry from what to expect for a fare in another city, state, or country.
Why did you stop using the jeep (16:00) and get an Escape to drive for Uber?
The Jeep has horrible MPG compared to the Escape, It's hard for some people to get in the Jeep, and I didn't want to put the miles on the Jeep. If it snows, I'll use it, otherwise, not so much.
Hi i got a question, i just recently applied to uber x and got accepted, i do uber eats the thing is once they acepted me to do uber x, my whole screen changed they way u have it on the rides but the uber eats have a different screen format from from uberx,¿ how can i change the format to uber eats formar?
Sorry for the delayed response. I'm not sure what you mean by the uber eats format as compared to uberx. Depending on what type of job you're doing, Eats or UberX, there will be some subtle differences in what the requests will look like and how you go about completing the ride. However, the navigation portion should be the same. Can you clarify what it is you're talking about by format?
Uber plays all sorts of scams and not consistent with its apps in different countries. In Australia the waiting time is 5 min, whereas in USA it’s only 2 minutes. The list is long for all these slavery by Uber…
Edmond is awful for Uber
I Don't do rides with additional stop, uber charges 8 dollars plus per mile, and the drivers gets only 1 cent for the stop and 35 cent for the mile
If you accept a one way trip, and then the passenger adds a stop before you get to the pick up, just cancel. Most likely the passenger just turned it into a round trip, meaning your miles just doubled and your time tripled, for what, an extra $.50-$1.00 on a short trip? No.
$10.63 for 35 minutes (you know it will be at least 40 minutes) and 19.8 miles. This trip is a hard no. Everything about it is bad
Did you notice how many miles to the pickup???
what so ever, I never accept multiple stop trips to avoid all kinds of trouble.
Do not accept multiple stop rides. Thank me later
