Jacob was too young, he needed to grow up, to get out of the small town. Bella doesn't suffer any consequences in the story, like the main character in the Mary Sue trope. James would have turned her into a vampire and if she had to accept the consequences of being a vampire, the uprooting of the family, Jacob, the impossibility of having children, a life full of murders for blood, maybe an aha moment would have come. My favorite characters are Emmett and Rosalie, their stories are very interesting and they did very little of them in the movie and wasted their huge potential in the script. We deserved more, more of their relationship building after SA, logically saving Emmett, a bigger dive into violence against women, really stupid writing. Also, if vampires can't have children, there shouldn't be an exception, Edward spain sperm flu venom you don't want it in yourself. The rules must apply to everyone. If someone deserved a child, then ROSEEMMET and it should have been logically like a serum against vampireism and a return to being human. It was originally in the Moonlight series.
