    Between the first anime and the reboot, i prefer the original. The cute opening, the animation, the humor and drama. There's way too much sad moments in the reboot, almost every episode which is annoying and not enough humor. I know the Soma's life is sad but to me, it's exagerated. I stoped watching it after season 2 while i saw the original more than 20 times. The 2002 anime has a special place in my heart 🥰 Also, we don't see the Soma's turned into animals that often in the 2019 version. The curse is still there and we mostly saw them as humans... that's weird 🤨

    i watched the og anime in 2004 ( i was 10) and while growing up in a screwed up family, Fruits Basket was the anime that kept me sane, comforts me. i rewatched 26 episodes anually . i really mean it, anually. Up until i was 14 years old, had my own laptop and i found out about the manga with 136 chapters, it became my holy grail. I learned a lot from all char's backstories, even Tohru. Everything made sense. I guess Fruits Basket is like a therapy for us the broken ones. Fruits Basket 2019 finally gave me the satisfaction that i longed from since 10. Fruits basket change how i view people around me and the way i live my life. I have no shame of saying Honda Tohru is my role model. Fruits Basket trully inspired me. I will always go back to Fruits Basket, anytime , anywhere

    I believe Nezuko, even if it's through hypnosis, could represent the denial better. When Tanjirou buries the corpses of their family, she looks in the distance and doesn't help or do anything, she's ignoring the thing as if it didn't happen. Later on after the hypnosis, she believes her family is still tvere around her, seeing a mother in Tamayo, and younger siblings in that one guy who lost his fiance, Yushirou and others. She never faces the fact her family is dead and gone until the entertainment distruct arc, when Tanjirou "sings" her the lullaby of their mother and she finally realizes the fact she's gone.

    Fruits basket is an amazing anime. Basically about a family of traumatized individuals needing help from a kind and accepting motherly figure that they never got, the opposite of Akito who rather than treating them with love and care takes out her trauma on all of them. The show basically addresses that everyone including the non zodiac members has trauma, or these childhood curses we carry with us into adult hood that bring us down. We can either face the curse head on and try and heal what hurt us or continue hiding from our traumas and keep them unresolved. And the main characters of the show finally chose to face their traumas head on and break the curse and live happy lives on their own terms despite their sad upbringings. Thats the message I take from it, you may not be able to rewrite your past but you can write your own future.

    Honestly, what I'm going to say is. What was Koyoharu Gotouge thinking of having Zenitsu and Nezuko get married when someone like Zenitsu is the last person to end up with Nezuko, let alone with any woman? To all of the Zenitsu fans out there reading my comment. I'm sorry that I disrespected your favorite character, but. Zenitsu is one of the worst characters in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, he's got to be one of the most annoying person I have ever seen. All he does throughout the story is be annoying and useless (most of the time, when it doesn't involve fighting demons). Here are his qualities throughout the story. 1. He's a big crybaby. All he does throughout the plot is whine a lot of things that are happening to him, something scary, or things that don't always get his way. 2. He's a coward. The guy is the biggest coward in the story who makes other cowards braver than him. The guy is supposed to be a Demon Slayer, yet he would rather be a crybaby coward and harass women. Plus, he's a disgrace to the Demon Slayers for being a crybaby coward. 3. He's a complete simp, and he will sexually harass any woman. The guy doesn't take no for an answer from any woman who doesn't want to be with an annoying obsessive crybaby pervert. He will be begging and crying so much that he thinks they will feel sorry for him so they can be with him, or he chase after any woman, no matter the woman's age or if they are a demon. He will not stop until he has a woman in his life. Honestly, no woman in his world or any reality would ever want to be with him. He makes Ataru Moroboshi from Urusei Yatsura. Decent to have a better chance of ending up with any woman (I know he ends up with Lum, but this is just an opinion that he's another character that no woman in his world or any reality would ever want to be with him if it weren't for Lum who is the only person who wants to be with him). 4. His origin story sucks. The guy is such a simp that he went broke. So he was forced to become a Demon slayer even though he doesn't want to be one, and he would rather be some annoying crybaby pervert to "tried" to get a girlfriend to be his wife. I mean, the plot of this story is about a young boy in the Taishō era. That has monsters based on the Yokai in Japanese mythology, his sister has turned into a demon, and he has to go on an adventure to slay every demon in Japan to stop Muzan Kibutsuji from trying to become the most powerful demon in the world and to gain control over all of humanity. Also, his only goal is to change his sister back to a human. The only problem I have is that he has to put up with two idiots. One of them is a battle idiot. Who is obsesses with fighting anyone and training himself to be stronger than everyone else. And the other is an annoying crybaby pervert who doesn't want to fight at all and prefers harassing women so he can get a girlfriend. With all these awful qualities he has in the story, the only thing that's good about him is when he passes out to become a powerful swordsman. I haven't read the manga yet, but does he ever improve and stop acting what he is in the story? th-cam.com/video/-LjF_16i8kM/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=JetTheProphet th-cam.com/video/Tavs0INJKVg/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=AnimeTopScholar th-cam.com/video/0K_MOGmp54M/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=StaticFox64

    I always come back to this video it’s so well done. I think the hatred for itatchi is that his “art” isn’t really anything tangible. It’s just an illusion made by itacthis eyes thanks to his family’s unique ability while deidara actually has to physically mold his art from his hands whose power comes from an also unique ability like a kekkei genkai. Not to mention a genjutsu Can feel like an eternity the opposite of what he thinks art should be which is why he hates the fact that he liked it.

  • @p.fish_63
    @p.fish_63 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Part of the conflict is there conditioning, Sasori is from the village hidden in the Sand, while Deidara is from the village hidden in the Stone. Sand is impermanent, always shifting and changing growing up in an ever changing world is scary for a kid and many result in control issues or Obssesive Compulsive tendencies, but it makes sense that a child from the hidden sand would want permanence and constancy. Deidara is from the village hidden in the stone, contrasting the desert with a mountain region, mountains represent monolithic endurance, a mountain can stand for an eternity, as we can see from Deidaras character hes a rebel, his art is momentary, a flash and you'll miss it, not an unchanging monument to endurance. Sasori is like a sculptor, Deidara as chef.

    It’s an interesting way to build a character. Ep 11 - make it so no one likes him and seemingly has no redeemable qualities. Ep 12 - show a glimpse of his powers in a really epic way that also shows that his character has more depth than we would’ve previously thought. Really at this point its still “he’s annoying but his fighting is cool”. Ep 13 - (when defending the Nezuko box). Show that despite seeming like a coward on the outside, that on the inside he’s actually got some courage and strength in there even while he’s awake. Then ep 17 backstory and shows that his self esteem and confidence is critically low. And the reveal that he dreams of being a badass hero who saves people, and when he’s asleep that’s exactly what he is bcuz he fully lets go of his insecurities. Suffice to say Zenitsu is an extremely well written character, who develops as a character, but also the way the audience is intended to view him develops over time as well. Thanks for reading
